I've encountered many friends especially boys who find it very hard to sleep at night. I'm a girl yet i have this habit of being active at night. And of course waking up too late to attend classes. Why do you think this it? Why this habit is so hard to break?

I don't know. I'm also more of a night person. I think the problem is that at a younger age you can do quite well with little amounts of sleep so you can stay awake at night without much problems. When you get older your body gets less flexible and gets tired earlier. So because of that older people will be sleepy earlier and go to bed earlier as well.

I wouldn't. I like the night more in some things. Also, I nearly never have to get up early, so I can stay up as late as I want without bad things happening. So yeah, I'm quite happy with it.

Be active at night? oh seems not a good habit for you and your roomates. You energy is limited in the 24 hours. That's the rest time,so just relax yourself.Try to regulate your time, and change your boi-clock.After a span of time, everthing will be ok.Good luck!

Hi, della I used to be very active at night and found it hard to sleep. That was before, when I get up at 8 in the morning and did not have to rush to work. For almost a year now, I have to get up at 6:30 a.m. and have to be in the office at 8:30 a.m. I guess my body clock has already adjusted because I can now sleep before 12 midnight. It's still a little late by someone's standard but, hey, that's better than before when I am still wide awake at 2 a.m. Maybe a change of lifestyle and discipline can break the habit. Take care!

I can hardly stay upto midnight if I had to study. But, If work on something that is of my interest then, doesn't matter whether I sleep or not. Though, I would prefer to sleep before it's 11 pm. I loved to be in my dreams. If I don't have a proper goodnight's sleep, the next morning is no less than a nightmare to me, I get so much drained of energy. But for a time, about two years back I was quite well of a night crawler. I don't know how it has changed.I think just trying to sleep in time regularly for about a month will make you get habituated to it. Just try it.
