What do you think of honest?

honesty is the first thing every people should have. it makes the world better

You have the saying "honesty is the best policy". No matter in what sphere of life you see at the top everywhere you will see people who are very honest and truthful. So it speaks volumes of what you can achieve by being honest. The path is difficult though ...... indeed very very difficult. Dishonesty will always pull you towards it as it promises overnight fame ..... basically it will appear to be much easy to achieve your means through dishonest way compared to honest means. So initially it will look very very attractive and lot of people are lured to take the path. But it's all farcical ... after some time you will realize that though it was easy and fast eventually you have lost all the hard earned respect and possibly closed all doors. Then people realize the hard truth that why honesty is the best. You may be slow but you will surely achieve what you want and in the end may be much more.

Honesty is very important. But there are people who tent to tell lies. I have this kind of people around me. Sometimes they are telling a lie without any sense. It seems like kind of an absolutely instinctive reaction to lying. Even the liar doesn't know the reason why he tell a lie, maybe he just wanted to conceal or distort something true. Does anyone of you has that kind of persons around you?

I hate it when people lie. It never gets people very far in life. People just wont trust them if they start lying. I have always respected people till they disrespect me.

Hello youetme!!! Being honest is the most thing which we all much implement in our life. But it is the discouraging fact that the honesty among the people in this world has reduced to the large extent with the increase of selfishness. In most cases, I am always honest, and to be liar, that doesn't give from my heart. But some people tell than being too much honest will not make you able to live nicely in this world. You must be very much careful with this world and become a little clever and learn to lie where needed. This is a very much frustrating fact that the value of honesty is reducing in this world everywhere... And still I say honesty is the best policy. It is the very thing that helps to get the faith in us from every people and that is the most important thing. Don't you think so? I know the honesty will surely reward us one day... I had heard a story of person from our community. Well there was a man who use to work in the great businessman's house. The businessman use to deliberately keep some money in is bed and seem to make them like fallen from his pocket while sleeping. And this man was responsible for cleaning his room, arranging his bed. This man did never take the money, but instead collected them well and kept under the pillow. And in the next encounter with his boss, he would tell that he had found the sum of money on his bed and had kept it in the safe place. With this, the businessman trusted the man, and helped him in many ways and gave him a greater job in his business field. The story is very much real and this shows how the policy of honesty can do us a good favor. So, honesty is the best policy... Keep posting youetme...happy mylotting...

I agree with you.For one thing ,some students cheat on exams in order to get high marks,some merchants try to get rich by deceiving customers making fake commodities.Those people may succeed for a time ,but sooner or later,they will be caught and deserted by their friends.In the end ,dishonest will bring them nothing but disaster.

I always think that the honesty is the best virtue. When I was little, George Washington's story of cutting the cherry tree already impressed me a lot. This is why I appreciate the honest people. I love China

I, myself love to be honest with people... doesn't matter what, I want to talk the truth and be honest. Lying is not my issue, I will feel so bad if I talk something lie or not so truth about me. I believe Honest with people is a good thing to start friendship and easy for other people to trust you.

I believe that honesty is a requirement for society, for a civilization would not last long without it. But, one cannot be 100% honest, as being polite will usually call for witholding of some honesty as to prevent hurting someone's feeling or even from being disrespectful in a polite society.

Honesty is a moral obligation, we never reach the inner peace if we aren't honest.

Yes, I agree, honesty is the best policy. The Lord is not pleased if we are dishonest. As what Proverbs 12:22 says, "The Lord hates those whose lips tell lies, but He is pleased with people who tell the truth. Honesty really counts. The Lord is pleased and you can get the trust of others when we are honest.

Everyone want to be trusted, and the best way to be trusted is keeping honest. Some people lie for the purpose of protect themself from being hurt. They are afraid of the comments of their shortcoming and try to create a perfect person in the other's eyes. But actually, people perfer a honest person rather than a "perfect person". Honest is really a valuable qualification admired everywhere and I like to make friends with honest people. I feel very comfortable when I work, study, and hang out with my honest friends.

i think honesty is one of the best characteristic a person should ever have. when you are an honest person, most of the people who knows that you are an honest person, will truely respect you. your honesty will be given back to you. what you do to others, it surely will be done to you too.if you are honest to them, they will be honest to you too.

sorry my comment maybe late here. But is unsure of the veracity of a people certainly have and also with the lie that men have not separated from it. So it's fair the choice of living if they choose a good way and then the correct choice is honest but unlucky like that then only the lie in is his life and I strongly agree with your opinion . .

I admire someone who is honest with me.. I would rather be hurt with the truth than destroyed with a lie. one lie never stops there.. it leads to another and another.. it's such a waste of time... just tell the truth and be done with it.

It is perfectly true.Honesty is very important qualification for a person.We should try our best to be honest to every people around us.At the same time,others will also treat us more sincerely.It's a virtuous circle in our social network.

honest is something important for human beings ,no one want to be cheated by any way. when some oen is honest to you ,you feel happy ,when you were cheated ,you almost want to kiss the one who cheated you . I never deceive anybody in my life
