Who gets what when you get a divorce?

How do you decided when you get a divorce who gets what. I mean my divorce seems like we arent going to fight over anything. Im just wondering who gets the dishes the bath towels appliences. Should it be whoever bought it gets to keep it or should those things be split evenly. So far when going through things we have just split things by who bought them.

you will get nothing after divoce ,the most affected one is your kid .

I'm no expert, but I know two people who split and couldn't afford big laywers and what not. In fact, they both had little money in general. They ended up having to split things they had before they were married.
