dosbox in ubuntu, how on earth do you use it?

i like playing old dos games. I am trying to configure dosbox for ubuntu, but so far i don't know what to do with it. the filesystem is a little bit different from window$ but it's basically easy with the folder system and you know basic files do you know any terminal switches i could use to make dosbox work for me? thanks to any answers. You can run your games in this way: open Terminal, run dosbox and give to dosbox de directory where you have your game and the game name.
Example:
hugodc@linux$ dosbox /home/hugodc/invaders/invaders.exe
Is there a way to mount a directory in DosBox, and you can use it like another drive, but at this moment I don't remember, sorry :)
