Video Editing Software

hi mylotting people, i would like to know which site offers the best or say ok video editing softwares..for free, i usually use the windows movie maker which comes with windows installed on my system, but that has some limited effects and plugins when working with it, am an amature with this thing(i mean editing videos), and will want to know were i can get these programs for free so i can practice for professional purposes...and what will be my system requirement before i can start.. thanks my mylotting friends..

There's no free but professional video editing software. But you can have it for some trial period. Usually is 30 days trial. I recommend Grass Valley (formerly Canopus) Edius. This is a great video editing software for home and professional use. But make sure your computer meet the system requirements. I don't know any particular sites of video editing site but you can go to site like download.com and softpedia.com and can find video editing software, as they have a huge list of freeware and shareware software. And also why not you try nero 8, it has also come with video editing software and very easy to operate.
