Anyone know about how to make money through Youtube?

I always heard about making money by youtube.I also be a youtube member and upload my video too.But until now i still cannot find the youtube payment processor.I think it's only a video medium for people.Do you know how to make money through youtube?Should i be their agent?

I didnt think you could make money on You Tube but i will have a look into it.
