I signed up for a paypal account as most of the sites pay by paypal account.but they ask to enter my credit card number,i am afraid.could anyone please tell me,if i enter my creditcard no,is there anychance of misuse of my credit card no.also tell me if i can recieve money via paypal without entering my credit card no.

You need to verify your Paypal account by inputting your credit card information. If you are not an online seller, I think it's alright that your account is not verified. It doesn't have an effect for you to receive money. I verified my Paypal account and it cost me very little fee, I forgot how much it is. Paypal is a safe website and I am not afraid to input my credit card information to it.

No you should enter your credit or debit card number there, they will charge you fees for varification but after when you got varified they will credit those money to your account. If you are feeling any risk then directly purchase something fron online sites.
