A thumbs up for a sweet guy like you...i would suggest that you give her something unique, i mean don't give gifts you already gave her before like flowers, perfume, jewelries or accessories, or stuff like those....if she's a plain housewife why not do all the chores for her on her birthday...on her birthday you need to wake up early and ahead of her...then tell her "i'll take care of everything" it's just like she'll have a day off on her birthday from day in and day out of preparing all the things for you and the kids...it will sure make her feel happy knowing that you do appreciate all her work as a faithful wife and mother....and if she's working then give her a special appointment in the spa or beauty parlor...since she's been busy may be she haven't time to pamper herself and find time to relax...and of course don't forget that sweet kiss...we wives also appreciate simple but sincere gestures husbands tend to forget...hope this helps...happy bday to your wife :)

It is so nice to hear that people still want to do sweet things for their spouse! I hear too much about divorce and problems - I like this much better! Since you have been together for a long time, I am sure you know most of her favorites. Try setting up a picnic at a park. Have a friend set it all up before you get there, that way your wife will think you are only going for a walk. Have a blanket spread out with her favorite flowers on it. Next to the blanket, have a picnic basket with her favorite foods. Then just spend time with each other - without the distraction of the phone or family members. Your wife is one lucky woman!
