I dont think i can top the first response so I will just keep it simple LOL
I follow the ancient Egyptian path
My primary deities are Isis and Ra
but..they to me are a representation of the duality (balance) of something greater
they are basically representative of a Divine energy that is neither male nor female, good nor bad, etc
it is ALL things
to further explain let me equate it to the Christian beliefs
In the Christian beliefs there are two main entities
There is God and there is Satan, each complete opposites of the other thus creating a balance
without one the other cannot exist
they are essentially two halves of the same whole
they represent the cosmic balance created by a divine energy
I hope that makes sense if not just ask questions LOL
Blessings

I am Pagan, a Witch (NOT Wiccan)
I do respect Christians as well as all other religions
there is no right or wrong religions
they are all essentially the same
to disrespect another is to disrespect my own

Wow, Isis is one of my favorites. I have always felt close to Bast. She sent a cat to protect me from my ex fiancee... And man that cat did a number on him! She would attack him out of nowhere if he was yelling at me. And I could always tell when I was right in an argument cause she would promptly go upstairs and pee on HIS pillow never mine! LoL I just turned it over and let him think he sweat alot... Maybe I was a little vindictive with him... LoL.
But I do consider myself pagan, Wiccan to be exact. I just have respect for Christians cause that's how I was raised.

Hmm before I used to be Pagan, because I couldn't "Feel" GOD's influence in my life. Yes I was the normal moody broody teenager who got hooked on Magick for kicks (Dont worry this aint a Be CHRISTIAN Talk...) I aint the usual Christian. I'm Spiritual meaning I have a very private and strong Relationship with God. I have reached a plane of understanding that I see GOD's hands in everything and despite what people may think we have our hand's too on whatever bad things we have in our lives. For me God's presence is felt in every second every breath I take...He saved me when I was about to die...even if I turned away from him. In my eyes he is Buddah, He is Allah, Yaweh, God within all rolled into one. I know and I feel he exist...even if GOD has 1,000 names he or she is still the same...The Being who is within us all, in heaven in everywhere. People in the Christian faith know this but don't understand it, they say he is omni present, omnipotent but yet they think he is apart from them. How can he be, when he is in us all. He is our eternal spirit, our minds are connected to him through an unbreakable bond. We just need to tap into that, no its not prayer...its deeper than that. He will answer we just need to feel for the signs...we have the power to change our lives for the better we just need to learn how to shift ourselves into a consciousness that connects to him...in the deepest parts of our minds he is there waiting. He is not far away in heaven, he is within all of us under all the rocks, inside all of our cells, inside every drop of rain.
Thats how I know our God whatever faith you may have, religion, Dogma, these are just human ways of understanding a Higher existence that has always eluded our understanding because we have not reached the right plane of consciousness that we realize that he was with us all along. :) Praise Be...Let it Be...So it be...Blessed be!!

Kind of like the lost sayings of Jesus Christ "Turn a stone and I am there, split a piece of wood and I am there."
I am fascinated by religion in all its forms.. I have studied at least a little bit about everyone I can... It is interesting to see how different people have worshipped over the centuries. Although the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans pantheons have always fascinated me the most.
How can you be compassionate towards others and show the same love you expect to recieve if you don't show love and understanding. That's how I feel. I hold nothing against Christians I was raised one and I will admit I still have Christian leanings I just don't consider myself Christian. I still believe the overall message that Christ was about love and compassion.
I too believe that God is everywhere, even when I was a Christian I prefered to be outside amoung creation to wo worship becuase it is the temple that was created by God and therefore perfect where churches were man made and imperfect.
I still feel that way

For me worship is already accepting that he is there and that we know he is the HIGHEST...he doesn't have to be reaffirmed by that. He knows! He doesnt have an ego...he doesnt need it. Connect that is all he asks from us. And the reason why I don't believe in all of those Dogmas is they say why we shouldn't do things but never explain to us why we don't have to.
You don't have to be apart from him to worship him, its like a lover, you don't have to stare him or her from a far to know he loves you. Its actually better if your hugging each other. That is what I think God wants from us...We don't have to shout out his name or out to him on the highest mountain because he is closest to us than our very own skin :)
Religion is nothing for me...its man made...what matters to me is what I feel inside :)

Though I am Pagan I personally dont worship any deity...For me all and any Gods/Goddess' arent seperate from me but rather a part of me..So for example if I need the qualities of lets say Kali then I draw that up from within myself..make sense?
I also dont believe in "worship" period...To worship someone/something IMO is to see them as above you, better than you and so on and IMO we are all worthy, equal and none of us is beneath any other be it a living person, a deity or whatever..

Wow, that is very deep. It always amazes me at how pagans have such very different views on the same subject. I have heard this about Christians but it is definitely true of pagans. You put two pagans together with one doctrine and you'll get 4 different viewpoints on the same thing... LoL
It is a wonderful thing to see in action.

I'm actually a real hodge podge of which gods/goddesses I believe in and invoke..something a Gardnerian Wiccan would probably choke over..LOL...they seem to be the more strict/disciplined of wicca paths. I consider myself both pagan/wiccan and like to use Isis, Bast, Seshat, Sekhmet (for my more powerful spells), Hathor, Horus---also use/invoke Freyja, Ohdinn, Bragi, Lugh, Ogma, Hecate and on and on...really depends what "spell" I'm using....most often use Isis and Bast though---being a cat lover how could I NOT use Bast?...LOL

*scratches head*
if they are so uncomfortable with you using your deities then why the hell are they coming to you to cast spells in the first place?

LoL that's how I am as well... It also depends who I am doing a spell for.... If I am trying to do something for a Christian friend invoking one of my gods makes them uncomfortable... LoL go figure... SO I also use angels and God for them....
LoL I am the weirdest Wiccan alive

While I find the stories of the Gods interesting, I don't really worship any of them. Of course they all have qualities to be admired, and I admire them, but I do not worship any of them.
