I'm very big on keeping things, especially pictures. I always have my camera with me and have thousands of pictures. I like to think of it as keeping time frozen, I always take pictures of things and people I love because I always want to remember them.

I believe half of the excitement and half of the reason for going travelling is so you can take as many pictures as possible - the places you've been, the people you've met and other things you've seen. There are some beautiful sights in this world and not only that, if you actually take an amazing picture - it can be worth some money!
Life is about taking pictures, we take millions of pictures everyday through our eyes, which are stored in our brains but as yet there is no way of transferring them to a storage location - maybe in the future eh?

It is true that it helps remain the wonderful things in our memory with those photos we took. There are many worthy moments in our life for us to have some photos taken as a reminder. I have whole bunches of photos both in my photo album and in my computer. I love to see them a lot. Good day, youless.

Have you heard the phrase that ' a picture is worth a thousand words '.Then by all means you should photograph with either a person , place or thing. There is nothing more fitting to show and tell something to the folks you left behind or potential friend you happen to meet. I am a shutter bug and I always take my camera with me when I travel.

It is essential to bring your camera. The photo does not have to capture the scenery or beautiful view, it is the moment that is important to be remembered. One day when you look back to the pictures you will have mix feelings about that moment and that..is priceless.

i don't think it is necessary to have your picture taken in an outing or when you travel, but we take picture for us to have some remembrance of the past thing that we've done, or past tours that we had.

Hi fwangna,
I always take my camera with me when I travel as I like to take pictures of the places and scenaries where ever I am and that way I can look back in many years to come and remember the good time I've while I am travelling and the people I've met, how wonderful to keep these treasures as if you don't have any photos, your memories will fade and you will forgotton all about the places and the [people you you had met.

The reason why I took pictures during holiday is so that I will have memory of the place and who my travel companions are. I want to seal the good time we have together whether in form of images or video and I can look it from time to time. I think it's important to do that as human forgot easily. You'll be surprise of how important the images to you in the future.

I don't think taking pictures is really necessary in travelling, travel is to enjoy the journey, not something that bother you and make you fell tired, nevertheless, some people enjoy taking pictures in their journey, but not me. I always forget to take pictures like you. so, to me, taking pictures is only an option in journey, I don't have much vigor in photoing.

I really recommend that you buy a digital camera! Not only to document your travels, but to have you for special and not so special occasions! A nice cloud formation, spring flowers, autumn colors, family or friend reunions and so many other things! You don't need to spend any money developing pictures, so you can just pick and choose the ones you want to keep. The computer also allows you to share those pictures!

I will always take a camera when I travel, this is an important step for me, I will take a photo of what I see, and when I saw something beauty, I will take a photo, then I put the photos on my blog, and I can share with my friend, then we can talking about the travel, and they can share my travel through my photos, this is a great thing.

Hi Fwangaa, same sentiment. I do not take photos when I am travelling, just for the sake of creating memories.
However, my mother loves to see herself in photographs, so that she can show everyone where she's been.
I use my digital camera to take photos, mainly to make money out of them. Some of the photos are uploaded to Associated Content, and some are selling in lulu.com

For me, taking pictures (with you in the picture, of course, not only the places) is one of the most essential things to do when you are travelling, especially when going out of the country. It's one way to remember where you have gone. I like collecting things, too when I go to unique places at my visited countries, e.g. museums or temples.
