What gift will you give your mom for Mother's Day?

Hello! Actually I'm still thinking what would be the best gift for my mom on Mother's Day. I want it to be simple but memorable. something that with personal touch from me. I don't what is the exact one. Hope you could help me too.

I think my child is still too little to understand the Mother's Day. I don't expect anything from him. His good behaviors is already the best gift for me:) I don't what is the best gift for my mom. I think we will go out and have a good time together and then have a good meal. I love China

Mother's day is fast approaching and I don't any gift idea in mind yet.. i am still waiting for my money to arrive.. once i have it, i would raid the stores in the mall and see what i can give to my mom, granny and sister-in-law.. of course, i want my presents to be something special.. i also have this thought of buying pizza or pasta for snack.. advanced happy mothers day to all..

On mother's day, I will give my mom a bouquet of flowers, a love letter/a greeting card with the poem i composed,and of course a monetary gift.I know these wouldn't be enough and it would be simple things but I want her to feel important and special on that day.I asked someone to give those for me since I won't be with my mom personally on that day.But I will call her over the phone and tell her how much I appreciate her and love her.She deserves this because of her sacrifices and great love and understanding she gave me.

I love my mother very much. Since my father passed away 8 years ago, my mother is my only parent now. On this following Mother's Day, i will give my mother a set of apparels. I never did it before, but i hope i have a chance this year. Have a nice day and happy mylotting.

Wow, I hope you are not going to give your mom a elephant as a gift, it is too big (smile). When I was teenages and live with my mother, I used to cook a sumptuous meal for her. I think something make by myself is much better to express my appreciation of mom than anything else. Now I leave my mom and study in another city. Actually, I still want to give her something made by myself like weave a shawl or draw a picture for her, but I do not have enough time. So I alos just give her a call and tell her how much I love her this year.

I am working far away from my mom so I will just give her a call on Mother's Day.

This year i got my mom something she's been wanting for ages - a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS2. It's a legal copy PLEA is selling because they upgraded to CS4 and i got it for a really good price. I told my mom about it a while back and she was so excited - it should be here by friday or monday. My sister got my parents tickets to Rosebud Dinner theatre in Drumheller last year and some to something in edmonton this year. I dont know what my other two sisters are doing this year - usually they have the option to go with me for the gift and i didnt think to offer that this year. Lots of other years we do flowers (plants) and dinner and stuff. Last year we did a Sign for the end of our driveway with a cool logo and a flower box and plants underneath. We always do a mothers day family photo.

I'll give her something sweet (pie, cake, or fudge), paper flowers (from my daughter - I'll help her make them, of course; she's only 2), and a homemade card. :)

I think Mother's Day is on a Sunday. Anyway, I intend to take my mom shopping on that day and have her pick out what she wanted. My mom loves going out and looking at stuff but she never buys the things she liked because she feels there are other more important things she should buy so I am taking her out to let her choose what she likes and I would buy it for her. I just hope she doesn't pick something outrageously expensive! LOL!

I usually like to give my mum flowers as she loves all kinds of flowers. Other than that I just love to spend time with her as we enjoy each others company and I do what I can to make sure she has a happy day.

Mother Day is not very popular here in china. But I regularly visit my mother, at least once a month. I would take some nutritious supplements, or at seasonal change, clothes of the season. She always says she has enough, but is happy to have the new ones, which we urge her to wear, instead of putting aside in the closet.

I will give my mom a Sony Digital Camera. She is asking me always what kind of camera is the best and which one is cheaper. So, I am planning to scout the best camera I've ever seen and do my research. I bought it last week and will give it this Sunday. I hope she like it.

my own mom passed last year so i'm on the other end of things here. I have 4 girls. What do I want for mother's day? NOTHING!! It is an overrated holiday. I don't want to feel bad because they spent money they didn't have on me. I don't want them to feel obligated to call me when they are busy with other things. They spend time with me all year long. We are close. They need to just ignore this day...it is like valentines...fathers day...any of those silly holidays. My girls get it. I will get nothing on mom's day and it is ok with me and they know it.

As far as I remember. I haven't give anything to my mom ever since for mother's day. For her birthday I do give her a present and of course during Christmas. Maybe next week I'll just give her a hug and say thank you for all the troubles Ive done. And if ever got some extra money, I'll buy her a shirt with some quotes on it.

This coming Mother's Day, I'm just gonna order my mother's favorite cake, chocolate marble cake with marshmallow icing.

my mom is what you would call frugal, if i was to actually get her anything she would lecture me from now till next year. she also says better not buy me a card, so i send her a email greeting card, as well as this year i get to surprize her we will be going to see her, you see i have a 1 year old daughter, that has just taken her heart away. so she will be double surprized. she's my mom and i'll respect her wishes that way she knows that i respect her.
