It's like the spam mail, "you won US$1 Million, just give me your contacts". I would definitely say "no way"
My main reason, that person is a stranger. I don't trust stranger. Especially the one that suddenly show up at my door with a box and ask me to push the button. What's the real catch? Besides, why me? What can a button do to save someone that also a stranger. Where's the proof?
I prefer to close the door.

That would be probably the best idea but the point of this discussion is moral dilemma. Would you murder someone you don't know for million dollars? Is it any different than pulling a trigger?

Well, Snow White ate the apple after the "stranger" told her it would make her wish come true... and the day that I found this discussion was 9/11/09, eight years after the towers fell.
The only way I would even think of pressing that button would be if a real cop or trusted official was there to tell me it was safe.

ok, if a cop gives you green light, says nothing will happen to you. Would you press the button if you know that it would kill someone?
