Hi! Riya!
It is really bad that due to your balance problem you are not able to pursue your profession of medicine. You can say it that your present situation has something to do with destiny. However, I believe that some other external factors and the luck of those persons, who are closely connected to you, would have also come into play for your present situation. Please do not feel disheartened, the great God will make the situation happier for you sooner than later. All the best.

I just cannot help remembering the old adage 'Man proposes and God disposes'.
I missed a medical seat by 5 marks and instead became a science graduate. But I have never gone to work and had to look after our family business after the demise of my father. And winding up the business I came to the city for the best things in life.I started running a cable TV company and of late branched out in to placement business which is picking up nicely.I at times stay away from me,sit down and take a look at me as a stranger to wonder the things that has happened in life.

hi
i feel that destiny is a fact.ever wondered why someone is born with a silver spoon in mouth, while another is born in slums.we are born with a particular destiny bcoz of the good or bad 'karma' which we have commited in our previous birth-but as we grow, the balance of the 'karma' is then either nullified or augmented by the 'karma' which we commit in this birth.so in that way we can to some extent shape our destiny thru good 'karmas'.

Destiny....i would say is a fact n not a myth..i feel that we are all destined for "soemthing" or the other and at the end its destiny n not our desires or amibition.I never thought id be doing the job that i am in now in infrastructure planning cos i had other ambitions so i feel that destiny plays a major role in ones life and its a fact

Well, I think all women who get married will eventually become a housewife whether she is a doctor, nurse, teacher or etc. I also believe about determination. You are determined to be what you want to be in spite whatever hindrance upon your way, you will achieve that goal if your heart and mind are into it plus hard work. But f you will put a top because another thing comes up, it will really kill your dream. Well, it doesn't matter as long as you are happy where you are right now.

Hi there!
Frankly I'm not so sure whether destiny is a myth or fact.. Some say that destiny is written on the palm of our hands while some say that we make our own future. I guess looking at destiny depends on what we believe in. Destiny can be interpreted as a myth or fact, but what's important is we happily embrace and accept what we become in the future.
Just like you! You enjoy being a housewife and that is wonderful. That also means you are satisfied with what you have become.
Ciao!

Hi!
I always enjoy responding to your discussions as you come with some very interesting topics. This topic too is a good one. Each person's view on this will differ.I personally think that destiny is a fact.I think everything that goes on in our lives has been foreordained by a power above us. Those of us who believe in God will take it as his will. This was what he wanted for us.However much we plan ahead there are so many events happening in our lives which takes a totally different turn.It may not be as we wanted then we just accept that and go ahead telling ourselves this was what fate had in store for me.If we are happy with what comes we can make the best of it like you have done. In my life so many things have happened. My husband would take up a job we will be doing well and suddenly we make up our minds that we want a change and leave. We take up some other job and its been going on like this for years. So I tell myself maybe we were meant to be here only for that period.I just tell myself let me just make the best of it as long as we are here instead of worrying about it.All the best to you.

I do not believe in fate, whether you were destined to be a housewife. I do think that for women, they are best as homemakers, and also best that they do businesses outside their homes. So if they are in real estate, they work from their home etc. And for women who really care for others, medicine is a good choice. I do think that eventually most women do gravitate towards homemakers. It does not mean they loose their brain power, it means that that is what they are very good in that area, more then men who will use five pans when we could use two, who need a tape measure where we know just by looking, etc.

It is often said that too many people know what they are running from but not what they are running to. Though you have studied medicine but you are not destined to be a doctor to the public. Destiny is not a myth as there is something for you to start that is destined for you to finish. A twist of fate landed you to be a full time housewife. Fate has outweigh your destiny.

There are things in life we can't comprehend and perhaps we'll never will. But in spite of it we should always be aware that God is always guiding us. Rest assured that he has planned for each one of us. A plan to make us prosper and aid us in our purpose on earth.
I like to think that destiny is synonymous with divine providence; that someone is always guiding us. We might have a different route, shortcuts or a sudden turned; whatever it may be, I believed we ought to be the way we are according to His plan.
The question is, are you willing to accomplish that plan or have it your way?

I think in a way, in life there is destiny. But being a person who can make decisions, we have the ability to accept or deviate from what we are destined to be. In other words, we are in control of what we want our life to be. The important thing is to accept changes and to make adjustments along the way....

I sort of believe in destiny. I believe we have a life planned out for us, but with free will, it changes with the choices we make.

Hi there, destiny is 100 percent fact. some of our friends have responded that our destiny is influenced by the choices that we make, but according to me even choices are already written. so all of us are born to perform as it is written.

Everything turns out the way its supposed to? For the most part I have found this to be true...when something happens to reroute our lives when you look back years later you will see why....why it happened and how you ended up where you were supposed to be....maybe its in your future if you still have a burning desire to do it!

Well I believe God has a better purpose why he made you a plain housewife than a doctor. God knows what is best for us actually. I actually do not believe in destiny but I believe in God's divine plan for each of us.

The answer could be vary on each people. If you believe it, then it's a fact. But if you don't believe, perhaps we can say it's just a myth. People agree that each individual has their own fate and destiny in this life. You may say it's a myth, but you must understand that no matter it's a myth or destiny, your fate is decided by your hands. Good luck and have a nice day.
