It is a known fact that people now a days use their cellphones no longer solely for calling. We can do a lot of things with our cell phones now and that includes "firing" off hundreds of txt messages a day. How about you? how many txt messages you send out in a day? Are you one of the txt fanatics out there?

Nowadays, I only text messaging my husband, mother and my friends. That would be about 5 - 15 messages a day. But before I got married, I used to text messaging my boyfriend (now my husband) about more than 120 per-day. Is it a lot? I don't think so when it revolves around the love of your life! Plus, my boyfriend used to phone me almost every night and we would talk for hours. SO, I think, that's fair...

well nothing is too much for the one you love ..and 120 text messages is nothing if you are sending these messages to the person who matters to you most. I think it is fair...I completely agree with you. Probably your boyfriend(now husband) also send hundreds of text messages before to her girfriend(now wife)...how sweet!

Hello anday0108, the only person I send more text messages to is a cousin. I might send her up to five but I do not do it every day. I have never been one to text alot but it is nice to know if I need to get ahold of someone I can send a text to them. I even had to show my mother how to text so she now does it but again not daily.

its amazing that mothers (older mothers) are also learning how to send text messages and are coping with technology. Maybe you mother sends more text messages than you do and send hundreds of text messages to her friends to pass the time lol...

I use my cellphone for so many things. But text messaging is not a favorite thing for me. I send maybe two a week. My husband and I use it as a way to flirt with each other when we are apart. I find most text messages to just be annoying. Pick up the phone and call me is what I think..... I'd rather hear your voice.

Well some people just love to send text messages and some don't. Sometimes it really depends on one's need. For some calling is a better and faster option. For others texting relays the message quicker. It really depends on individual preferences. Thanks for the replying to my question.

I'm one of the fanatics out there that do text alot in a day. On average I am over 100 a day. But that also depends on who I am texting with as well as what is being said. I do however text more than that some days. Thank goodness I have a unlimited plan as my bill would be sky high and that's just for text messaging.

You are not alone Nicholejade, I even know some friends who reached 300 txt msgs or more in a day. This is a free world, you do what you love as long as you can afford it lol....its also a good thing that networks offer unlimited txt messaging for txt fanatics.

I think you prefer to talk than to txt. Sometimes it can be so tiresome to type on those small keypads that's why I, myself prefer the full keyboard type of cellphone as I am lazy like you lol. Keep smiling too!

Lol! Well i can fire 200+ text messages. Though that will take it's toll on my fingers even if my phone has soft keys. I can only get that number when i'm in the mood. Meaning, i won't do anything but text the entire day. I mean I should be getting the most from my money's worth right? If i registered for unlimited then i should make more than a hundred because i would be shortchanging myself if i would text less than a hundred. That means i should have bought an all-text load which allows me to text a hundred times.
