Well ok I am a mother and don't really have any plans for mothers day this year..
However I am going to send my mom flowers for mothers day, I know she'll love them.. My husband every year wants to go out for dinner (don't get me wrong I love it) but was hoping to stay in this year and just me my son and my hubby.. Have a nice dinner watch a movie and just spend time with my family... What are your plans for this mothers day?

I will probably get my daughter a card as she is a mom. I have to work or I would just love a quiet get together with all my girls even tho we are never quiet all together. I really hope they don't go and buy anything .....just a hug would be great. They don't have money and I don't need for anything....just hugs. Have a happy mom's day!

Aww that's so sweet a hug, You know a hug means more to me than a gift anyway I'm sure you feel the same way about it.. I think daughters of moms are the same way too.. you will always remember that and cherish it unlike a gift that might break and you have to throw it or away or put away.. Happy Mothers Day!!

I really do not have any plans for Mother's Day either. I gave my mom flowers, a card and a gift card already too. I am not sure what my husband and daughter have planned for me either. I would more than likely like to just stay home also.

I am a mother too but my mothers day every year is all about my mom and my MIL. WE have a brunch here with my famiy for my mom. My husband works, so it isn't that big of a deal. But when my husband gets home he thinks we need to have his mother here for dinner and dessert. I was a little mad when he invited her for dinner and dessert this year since we discussed having her just come later for dessert. So for mothers day I really don't get any alone time with just my family.

This is my first year as a mother, since my daughter Kiya was born in December. I'm not sure of what to expect, but I'm hoping that my hubby doesn't forget that I can celebrate Mother's Day this year, as well as his mother. My own mother, on the other hand, doesn't make a big affair out of it. She just expects a card, and maybe a phone call, which is all well and good, but I think I'd like to have something a bit more...fun? It would be nice, at least.
