Why do we exist?

Sometimes I'm wondering why we are alive. Do you believe that we are the slaves of God in someway. Or is live a game or a test: You're born, you life, you die and then comes hell or heaven in other words: the real deal? Or do you have a completely different view?

I think we are life at the world because we have to do a mission there. We have to life our life in good and bad times. We have to reach some goals.

I'm curious about the views of other religions and people as individuals on this matter. That's why I opened this discussion you see. ;)

We are made and given a role. A role that we have to find out on our own and complete. If we fail to find out and /or complete that role, then we die unsatisfied. hell and heaven are more physical concepts. They say you get tormented in hell, if you leave your body on earth, how can u be tormented there ? I think there's no hell. What is there is the next life. If you are a sinuous person, you'll be sent back on earth with a new life, a life of an animal or that of human being (as both are such lives that can only give us pain). But if one performs good deeds he gains credits for those good deeds. He can use these credits to stay in heaven and enjoy until all the credits are over. Then he is again sent back to earth with a good life... This is what I've heard and compiled from different religions and some of my own thinking and I believe in this. I apologize from the bottom of my heart if this might hurt any feelings or beliefs. And I do not mean to change anyone else's thinking. Thank you.

That is also a very interesting theory I deem plausible.

Surely you have a harder question to ask. Life is the education of God's children. You need to question heaven and hell. Probably not going to turn out like you think or have been told. Slaves of God???? God believes in freedom. You have total freedom to choose everything. God is unconditional love.

Some people say we are the slaves of God, well you won't hear me say that.

This is an interesting question, with no real answer. First of all, I don't believe in god, so I don't think we are slaves of him, put here by him or have some divine purpose. I think we live to do what we have to do, reproduce and make sure our species survive. Why we have to survive? I have no clue, just know that we have to do now. Now for animals, that would have been enough of an answer, I think, but humans have the ability to think and learn, which means they can enjoy things, change things and have influence on things. So, for that reason, I think humans have some extra goals. They have to make the best of their lives, enjoy as much of it as they can, they should try to make the lives of people around them a little better if they have the possibility. Unfortunatly people use their intelligence for bad things as well. Probably even more than for good things. Their is one last thing to this question. Sometimes I doubt what the meaning of life is in the way that we were born, study, get a job, get old and die, which seems quite useless. So I try my to live with as much pleasure as I can and to help people around me the ways I can so everybody at least has a happy life as far as possible. It might not be the solution, but at least it's something.

Yeah perhaps we shouldn't think too much about it and just enjoy life and when we die we just see what happens.
