Hello onlinerep01 , If only people actually followed that law it's a good idea but I see some people still talking on their cell phones while they are driving.I have a bluetooth but I also rarely use it. I have to add I do not use my cell phone when I am driving a car. If I miss a call I will get back to whoever called when I am not driving.

Hello
How are you?
Thank you for responding, i totally agree the law will be rather nice if people only followed it, I still do see many people talking on their cell phones while driving, and yes they are still seeking out a accident, for some reason the ones that talks on their cell phones without a bluetooth device etc are the ones that are accidents waiting to happen it is really crazy.
Happy My Lotting!

where is this law implemented? The only places I know of around here are military instalations.
I think it is an advisable restriction - although I do not see how handsfree devices are any better... when speaking to someone not physically with you in the vehicle your mind is imagining the person and you can not help but be distracted by that and the conversation.
It is best to keep your mind on the road and your surroundings. you can not be alert if you are being distracted at all angles.

I think it is a good idea, but there are so many other distractions while driving. Eating a whopper while driving is no easy task, I can not eat one without making a mess sitting in the restaurant. Kids are a real big distraction while driving, I wish they would put a sound proof glass between the front and back seat. I do not do this but many woman put their makeup on while driving, how in the world can you look at the road and put mascara on.

Thank you for responding Sassy28.
Yes putting on makeup while driving, is a definite no no, that is a major destraction, now children on the other hand, that is something we may have to work out on our own sad to say.
Sometimes I find bringing along books, that the children like to read helps just a little.
