what genre does avril actually sing?

i was actaully discussing this with my friend the other day, andd from the way she dresses and from some of her songs, we thought she sang punk rock, but some of her songs resembled pop rock/ slow rock. what genre does she actually sing? im really curious. oh and do tell me why you think so

When I was a fan, she confused me. I thought of her music as punk rock but then some of it was pop..but then again, some of it seemed like ska (skate rock) so I really don't know if I can tell judging by the way she dresses...

I like her music..like when she first came out that 'complicated' song was good to me..I liked 'sk8r boi' but I seemed to get into 'I'm With You' more than those...the last song she did that I even liked was 'Girlfriend' so I guess I'll say that I am still a fan its just that she has not done anything I consider interesting in a while..

Once, in a discussion online, I mentioned Avril as singing punk rock but was immediately corrected by several members telling me that she was more pop or pop rock. But I agree with you, I though punk rock at first as well because of the way she dresses.

She is versatile in all genre, punk, rock and she is always best at all her performance and she rocks and she looks amazing!
