Plaxico really hurt us at the end of the season last year! He drew a lot of attention while he was there, and not there the attetion was put on the running game. Can Hakeem Nicks be the Plaxico we need him to be? He is shorter, but strong and fast? What do you think?

Tall wide receivers like Burress make the Quarterback's job so much easier. There's no way Nicks will be able to fully replace Plaxico. He can defiantly help them out, but it won't be the same.
according to NFL Network and ESPN annalists, Eli needed Plax is first few seasons in the league. When Shockey was traded, I heard the phrase "security blanket" used a lot when referring to Plax's relationship with Eli. I thought it was funny at first, but now it's started to make since to me.
When you have a 6'5" puma on offense, you'd be stupid to not exploit that advantage as much as possible. You don't even have to throw the ball with accuracy. As long as it's coming towards the guy, he will jump up in the air and bring it down.
It's the closest thing to having Tecmo Bo Jackson on your team. Throw the long bomb, let plax jump for the ball, then watch him shake the defenders by running in a zig-zag line before getting into the end zone. It works (almost)every time!
