I have a desktop with xp and mu laptop has vista. I have not seen anything on the newe operating system. Man, I would sure like to have Bill Gates money lol. He keeps changing the operating systems weay to much. Intsead of launching a new operating system, he should really concentrate pm the ones already released. Vista has had its porblems and now that I am getting used to it, he is changing again. I just can't keep up woth all the changes. While he is spending money with new systems he could hand some my way lol. I could use some that is for sure lol. I don't know how windows 7 will be, but I am not going to change right away.

I like the new aesthetically pleasing desktop effects in windows 7 unlike in any other versions of windows. I really love the new thumbnail preview feature in windows 7. If you minimize a window, as usual, it will be shown on the task bar and when you move your mouse pointer over it, it shows a thumbnail preview. If you paused your mouse pointer in that position for more than one or two seconds, then the window is automatically restored or maximized with a pleasing fade effect in the desktop. That's somewhat stunning. Did you ever notice it? Anyway, Microsoft is doing a great job.

I have not tried it but have read many reviews about it. The best thing i liked about it is that it uses less hard disk, less memory and it needs slower CPU than that what Vista requires.

it should work with P4 - 1Ghz, 18GB Hard disk space and 1GB RAM is recommended, you may still want to upgrade to Core 2 for best performance.

Windows 7 - the most awaited operating system has released its Released Candidate (RC) version. Servers are busy now. Thousands are downloading day by day. My friend is also downloading it. He just reached 50% today. Windows 7 seems to be a comprehensive one. Because it supported the software and high end graphic quality games which was not supported by my XP and Vista. Even the latest edition of 'Need For Speed' worked very nicely in windows 7 without any crash. I am really admired of of its performance. It includes stunning features like compatibility mode for XP and Vista where you can install the software supported only by the former operating systems.

I love the Icon for this subject of a person hitting their head on the computer. I see that a lot with my daughter when she is working with Vista. She has had to reload it a time or two and her laptop is not even a year old. She is always trying to use new programs, etc. I also see a lot of eye rolling and clenched fists. I am glad to hear that Microsoft has addressed some of the Vista problems. For now I will continue using my old Windows 2000 on my ten-year-old laptop. I must admit that a new system and new lap top would be nice.

I'm using it right now, and I like it! It's pretty fast and most of the programs that didn't work on vista, works on Windows 7! It has lots of eye-candy but that doesn't seem to slow it down (At least not for me) It's also easy to edit your personal look of windows 7. Can't wait for the full version.

I've tried windows 7 and its a much bigger improvement on windows vista and doesn't need much PC power. Windows 7 looks just like vista but with some improvements like speed, and based on what i read its running on a new system to increase speed.
