Do you know anything about first aid? If you saw someone having problems breathing, would you know what to do??
I think I knew what to do but I think I would be afraid to do it.. :D I`d better call the amublance :) What about you?

Yes I had to have regular first aid courses for my job but its one thing doing it in a classroom full of healthy people quite another to do it on a sick person hence why id never make a good paramedic!!
I do however have enough first aid skills to make sure if god forbid anything happened to my girls id be able to help them, id like to see first aid courses given to every new parents cos you just never know what might happen!

Nope, I know nearly nothing about it. I can stay quite calm under stress though, so I'd probably call an ambulance and try to help the best I can, or try to find someone who can do a better job than me at it. It's not much, but at least something. I can advise you all just to never stop breathing when near me.

I know first aid and would have enough skills to look after someone until the ambulance arrived. I have completed two first aid courses in the last few years and will take another one next year, as it is always worth keeping your skills up to date.
I have only ever had to use basic first aid so far and never had to give first aid to any one with a life threatening condition as yet.

Well, i have taken an accelerated course, a basic course, a refresher course, and a regular course in first aid.
an expert in first aid? NO! haven't used that skill so still no chance if im gonna do right or do wrong.
One teacher always tells me is " don't be nervous, be calm, think logically" a tip that works even if its not about first aid
