What's your favorite comedy series?

I've watched tons of anime... comedy, shojo, shonen, mechs, and many others...
My question is what's your favorite comedy series?
Right now its a four way tie between Love Hina, Detroit Metal City, Azumanga Diaoh, and Furi Curi (Fully Cooly, FLCL).

Gintama is one of the most hilarious shows i've ever watched, and the best part is that it sort of has a story line too and has decent amount of fighting and action! ^^
It's so hilarious that sometimes I laugh non stop for like 5 minutes in front of computer

I would have to say Welcome to the NHK it is my favorite anime and one of the most dramatic i have seen but i tell you it was also funny as hell. It had a great mix a lot of very heavy moments but also a lot of comic relief to help lighten the mood so you don't feel like i did after watching school days.

My favorite comedy animes are: Welcome to the NHK, Azumanga Daioh, Ichigo Mashimaro, School Rumble 1-2-3, Full Metal Panic fumoufu & FMP TSR OVA, all Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei and Lucky star. I have more comedy anime that I liked, but I can't seem to remember them atm. XD

i think i laugh a lot when i watch naruto,dragon ball,sailormoon and shaman king!
i also have great fun watch tiger something,story about bunch of misfit high school girls! i just bought it by instinct and really enjoyed it so much!

You should try mahoraba, its funny. i have also wtahced this "ghost story" once in youtube it was also funny and hilarious. I would also recommend sekerei although its a little ecchi. lastly also try Kyouran kazoku Nikki.....
