I play Piano, and guitar. And I absolutely love to sing. I have been playing Piano for about 3 years now, and it is such an amazing intrusment. Everytime I see a Piano, I smile. I have been playing guitar for about a year now. I love the different sounds it can make and I just love it. I love music in general. My passion is becoming a musical artist someday, although that probably won't happen! Any of you play any intruments? Tell us how you got started.

Iwould love to be able to play something but I think there has to be some music bone in the body and I don't have any so I live my love of music through others, I help promote a couple of struggling band here in Australia as a hobby, it is wonderful watching them making the music, I love it.

Hey thanks for responding. That is great Even though you can't play an intrusment, it is still pretty awesome that you help promote others, and help them pursue their dreams! :)

I feel the exact same way about the guitar... I usually play my steel string acoustic every day, either working on a song, or writing a new one, or recording. I got my first Yamaha classical when I was 8 years old and the neck was too big for my hand to fit around... now I have a collection of guitars, black and white Fender Strat, mdi guitar, steel string acoustic, electric acoustic, 5 string banjo... you can definitely become an artist.. just keep playing the songs you really like and messing with the instruments... that's how I got started :) of course it took me years to become a full blown songwriter and actually get air play, but it never felt like a job since I always enjoyed hearing my voice and plucking away. I hope this inspires you. Victoria

Hey am glad to have found another music lover who loves to play the piano. My self, I play the piano and the keyboard. My mum started me off in the toddlers music class when I was 3 called the Yamaha JMC class. And after graduation, she got an indivual teacher for me and I was on a long long journey of classical piano from Grade 1 to 8. Was quite stressful and demanding during those years but now looking back, i am glad my mum was strict if not I won't be who I am today in music. I never taught classical music to earn a living but I went to work in a church as a fulltime music coordinator. my job was to see to the church's worship team and training up people and my husband and I led worship every morning for 4 years. Was tough...really tough but was good training - can't get it anywhere. This is because I had to play the keyboard, co lead with my husband and maintain the flow of the music and worship. After we resign from the church, my husband started his own tech business and I taught Christian music to those interested at home. The main thing is to teach them how to play and worship at the same time. And now we are both station in another church, we are not fulltime but we do help out in the Chinese section in worship as well. i love it....playing the keyboard co lead with my husband and leading the peopel into God's presence .
