Our family has some pretty fair skin. Especially my my kids. We use spf 50. That is pretty much the standard in our house. With summer nearly here have you gotten new bottles?

No matter the type of skin or color everyone should use a good sunscreen to help prevent skin damage. I have to buy it every year especially since my daughter loves being outside more then inside when it is warm outside. The last few weeks she has been house bound since we have had nothing but rain and flooding for the last two weeks. They even had to call school off Monday since there was flooding in our area.

I use a pretty low SPF on my body and then something higher on my face. My face is the only part of me that tends to burn. I haven't bought sunscreen yet for this summer but I will be doing it soon. I prefer Hawaiian Tropic and Banana Boat. They're my favorite sunscreens and they smell delicious!

The amount that is used is the varied since sometimes it is to hot to go out. But it is always a good idea to use the sunscreen every time you leave the house, or will be outside for longer then 5 minutes. Skin damage is hard on the skin and we need to take care of our skin and out kids skin so skin cancer is one less thing we have to worry about.

I hardly ever use sunscreen even though I should at times. I love to go out in the sun and get a tan though. I mainly use it when I do not need to get more sun on my skin.

Sunscreen is one of those things I put on the kids, but I always forget to put on myself. I think I have 40 or 50 for the kids. I burn pretty easily too. You would think I would remember.

I am also expecting a bottle of Neutragena's New SPF 60 for sensitive babies to try thru a program I do online wich will come in handy since my DS has ecezema.

I get new bottles all the time because I live in south Florida where you can get burned all year round. I'm always stocked with sunscreen for the grandchildren and also for my daughters and myself.

I also have fair skin and burn quite easily. I really dont use much sunscreen, though. I am not a fan of the heat, so I try to stay out of the sun as much as possible. When I do spend time outside, I try to be mostly in the shade. Spending some time in the sun so that your body can produce Vitamin D is a good thing. But in order for this to happen, you have to be in the sun without sunscreen on! It is recommended you get 15 minutes in the sun each day. I try not to spend much more than this in the sun because I think it can be very damaging to your skin even if you are wearing sunblock. I must say, though, that I am quite thankful that sunscreen is so readily available! I cant imagine living in a time when I didnt have that option. Sometimes the sun is unavoidable and you have to do what you can.

Need to add it to our current shopping list. We are in Hawaii and use it all year long. My son and I have red hair and very fair skin, so we go through a ton of sunscreen. We also use SPF 50.
