My sister in law wore a specially designed japanese red kimono over her cream wedding gown, it was the most beautiful wedding dress design I had ever seen. Her wedding was featured in one of New Zealand's top bridal magazines.

At my first wedding, I wore a white dress. At second wedding, I wore a light blue dress. My aunt wore the most beautiful light pink gown at her wedding to my uncle over 50 years ago. I always wanted to wear it at my own wedding, but she was a size 4 and I was a size 8...LOL.

Actually, I had wanted to wear more of an antiqued color white, and maybe use some of the lace from my grandmother's dress. But my husband is a Naval officer, and his uniform is BRIGHT white, so having an ivory dress would have made me look dingy. So I went with bright white too!

I wore white, and was pure as white is suppose to be.

I wore denim capri pant's, a red blouse and white tennis shoe's. We kind of just walked in and got married.

When I do get married I will be wearing a white dress, no sleeves. My maid of honor will be in black and white, and the brides maids all in black. That way people know for fact the order of importance in the wedding party. Wondering if my future groom will be willing to wear a white tux...hmm..

When I got married the first time I wore white. Marriage only lasted 4 years. The second time I got married I wore my old prom dress which was blue.
I want to renew my vows with my husband now. We will be married for 18 years in June. We had and outside wedding and it was very casual.
I would love to do the whole wedding dress, tux thing. That way I can pass my dress on to one of my girls someday.
If we do I would buy a white or off white dress. It wouldn't be a wedding dress if it was a different color

Well I'm not really very traditional, and I'm not married yet. When I do, I hope to get married in front of a small audience in a garden or somewhere outdoors, and I'd love to wear red, or yellow. Something that isn't white, and a colour I love. I don't believe you have to wear white for your wedding to be 'correct' or proper.
Good question!

White represen purity and we all know that most who wear it are anyhing but that. Its traditional so I may wear it but I definitley want a short dress
