How would you define a "real man"?

I came across this blog, it was written in Filipino (local) and I thought it was really funny. It called itself, "the blog of real men". It was funny, entertaining and very VERY misleading in so many levels haha but it was interesting so I even decided to increase its popularity by featuring it.
It listed down 10 manifestos of real men which included:
# Real men do not sleep.
# Real men do not text back, not unless the texter sends load. (*Load means prepaid phone credits.) Nevertheless, real men replies are vague.
# Real men always order for an extra rice.

How would you define a real man? It might be a weird standard, but I'd like to hear it nonetheless :D
Personally, I do believe that real men always open the door for the ladies to pass through :)

the blog was funny. LOl. doesn't sleep, has sh*t on their briefs.. double triple lol hahaha
so anyway, let me say my real man (ideally) is someone who's
1. protects his family,
2. keeps his word
3. a good provide.
of wait, that's an ideal husband. LOL :p

Real Men Don't sleep: I sleep for 8 hours a day!
Real men do not text back: Yes, I am not the person who would text you back!
Real Men orders for extra rice :

I am a man and I think that whatever I do is enough for me to make me a real man. I don't go for such definition.

I am wondering if this was written by someone else that is fed up with the way men treat women..
A real man is a person that feels, shows it, respects others, is responsible, as well as caring, loving, and forgiving. We all have differences so when it comes time that those come up, in the times when there is no compromise the best way is to agree to disagree and LEAVE IT ALONE.

a real man says what he means, means what he says, loves with his whole heart, gives unconditionally, protects your honor, respects you, speaks his mind openly and honestly, has eyes for only you, thinks that you are beautiful and tells you so, says all the right things, but only if he means them. is close to his mother, is loyal to his friends, and knows how to wash dishes. :)

some men maybe, but mine really does have eyes only for me. any time we're out, we can see a pretty girl walk by, and he doesn't even look. It's weird, you know how us women are about our bodies sometimes, and especially after having had 4 kids, and he still loves my body, thinks I'm beautiful and perfect the way I am. still working on the garbage thing, good luck with that. ;)
