French fries are a food loved by most of us although they are also not really that good for us...oh who cares!!! As long as we dont eat them all the time, a few now and again wont hurt.
French fries come in all different cuts. There are fat ones, and shoestring ones, and wavy ones and curly ones, spicey ones and salty ones and ones that are coated.
Now I am getting hungry
What are you favourite kind of fries? Are they homemade or bought or served by a local chain?
Personally I like the ones from Swiss Chalet...and a local restuarant here that has a coating on them..YUMMY!!..OK, I like spicey ones too!

Well I have learned the language of all countries..but actually, we do associate chips with potato chips but not always...
We dont say we are eating fish and fries...It is fish and chips...but when we order from a food chain with hamburgers or something, we ask for french fries..We just dont care what they are called as long as we can eat them!

Yes, I like french fries too, but I seldom eat nowadays. If I do eat them, I usually eat the shoestring fries at McDonalds, and I will get them for less salt, or even not include salt at all.
At one time, I also like the curly fries from A&W, but they had withdrawn all outlets in my country. It's a pity...

I dont eat too many either because I am not supposed to but once in a while, I will have some with fish and chips.
A&W was closing around here too where I live but in recent years has made a huge comeback. I find they are more expensive then the other chains though but I do love their food

Hi there Sandy May!
I like shoe string french fries. I especially like them barbecue flavored but I also like them plain if that wouldn't be possible. I'll just settle with plain dipped in lots of ketchup or chicken gravy, or even vanilla sundae.

My favorite french fries were made by Jimmy at Jimmy's Delli in Charlotte, NC. The deli was bought and turned into a night club when Jimmy retired. His fries had just the right amount of spices.

I like the fries of McDonalds :) and the fries which is being sold at our local theme park. I can't remember the name because it's been so long since I last went there. It's top one on my list of best fries. McDonald's comes in next.

I love McDonald fries with just salt, ketchup is ok to but mostly on the thick diner fries. I could eat french fries every minute of every day!!!

I dont put ketchup on McDonalds fries either because they are so small, the ketchup makes them cold and soggy. Looks like a lot of people are fans of McDonalds fries!

I like the fries at Jack in the Box, Foster's Freeze, or Carls Jr. The curly fries are the best! :)
