Well in India there is lots more to see other than the Taj Mahal.......it all depends on exactly what you want to see......
You will find so many things related to history, the nature, the people, the culture, and so many other things.....
I would suggest you go to the north east India.....places like Gangtok,Darjeeling where you will see ancient toy trains which are about 100 years old and are still functional......
I you go to Gangtok, then you certainly cant miss the early morning sunrise.....there are a range of mountains called Kanchenjunga, when the sun rises and the first rays of light reaches the top of these snow clad mountains, it appears as if gold were shining.......it is simply a treat to the eyes.....
There are so many forts built by maharajahs decades ago, and are a popular sight in Rajasthan.......
If you come towards the south.......there are boat houses which you can rent for a day/night, these are called backwaters and are located in Kerela......
You can go all the way to kanyakumari.......to know the real beauty of India....
Well I just spoke about the beauty of nature here in India.......there are lots of monuments to see.......You will not regret seeing these places......
Have a nice day !!!!

Oh there are so many things to see apart from the Taj Mahal in India.
In Agra itself there is the Agra fort which is worth seeing.
Then in Gujurat you have Mount Abu, a hill station. You have Palitana, a Jain temple complex on the hill top. You have beaches at Diu. Daman and Somnath. You have famous temples of somnath and Dwarka. You have Pandav leni where the ancient Pandava kings lived during their exile. You have the Gir, which is a lion reserve where you can see lions really up close. You have Portuguese churches and forts in Diu.
You have the beaches of Goa, temples and the Sahyadris in the south, forts and palaces of Rajasthan, High snow clad mountains in the north and so much more.
