i have globelines for my cell. we tried having globe as an internet provider but the signal here in my place in batangas (in a certain barrio) is so low as with the cell. the cell signal is tolerable but when we tried the internet connection of globe, it was close to impossible. so we got smart!

I have globe also as my mobile phone provider and now im looking for an internet connection which will allow me to give a fast and clear services and hoping no interruptions. Im planning to get globe hopefully when i get back to manila soon but with the feedbacks im getting from our mylotters, i guess i have to double check first. Anyways, if i find any other feedback from my friends i will update also from here.

in my case, globe sucks! cheezy support, I've have had 4 modem changes in the last year with globe and each took at least 5 days to get fixed... some even took more than a week before they bring a stupid replacement modem. the support constantly gives me false promises that service is on the way. for someone who is working online and earning money online a few days without internet is a looooong time.

My friends have both smart and globe as their internet service provider. And what I noticed was globe has difinitely a major problem here in Tacloban City. Their prepaid internet via usb stick is so slow and they even claim that it runs via hsdpa! I have tried it once. It only selects for the particular website that it will download! You will definitely lose your patience and temper while using the service.
My other friend doesn't have problems with regards to smart. It's true that their signal and speed is so fast. And you can't even think that it is wireless!

Our internet provider is Smart we don't encounter any problems right now. The prepaid wireless connection of Smart is some kind of slow. I think it depends on your location or in the signal of the provider. Here in the Dasma. the signal is good and the connection is faster.

My internet service provider is BayanDSL. Although it is not without flaw, I can still say that I am satisfied with the service that it provides.
The homeowners association struck a deal (memorandum of agreement) with Bayan Communications, that is why Bayan is our sole internet provider until the rise of those wireless broadband from Smart and Globe.
I am not planning to switch on my ISP.
As they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
