Do You Love Your Mom? Who Are More attached To Mum, Girls Or Boys?

A nice discussion. In China, there is a famous saying: the daughter is the wadded jacket of the mother. It means that a daughter is more understanding than a son to their mother. A daughter can totally believe her mother, and they have common words to share and become very close friends. However,there is a famous Oedipus Complex in psychology, and I think it shows that a son is also attached deeply to his mother,in another way.

I know I was more attached to my mother than my brother was to our mother. This is what my grandmother told me a long time ago....A son is your son until he takes a wife, but your daughter is your daughter for the rest of her life. I firmly believe this too, for my brothers once they got married it was like our mother no longer existed & the same thing happened to my grandmother too. I don't understand how a man can just forget about his mother & go to his wife's family. I always told my husband visit your mother for one day she will no longer be here on earth for you to talk too. Sometimes I would get extremely angry at him for he would sometimes go months without talking to his mother. I talked to my mother many, many times a day when she was alive, I so very much miss our talks for as I said my day came for when I could no longer talk to my mother. I get very upset at times & I call out for her to help me & I can not help but cry for I miss her so very much.

Be it boys or gals, both are equally attached to mother because she's the one whom gave birth to us.. There's natural bonding between mother and child.. That's widely understood and of course the importance of mother.. Thus, we do celebrate mother's day, but not really father's day.. haha =D But no matter what, be it father or mother, both are equally important as we wont be out in this world right now, without either one of them ^_^

Hello Deepak_Online!!! I can't say it is boy or girl who is particularly attached to the mum more. I am a guy and I am surely attached to my mum very much and may be more than many of the girls. I don't think, it is the case of boy or girl, but I hope it is the nature and the dependency of the person on their mother. You quoted about the God, but I am the disbeliever of god. But not to argue. I admire you for posting the such the greatness about the mothers and my mother also have done such sort of things for me. And I am very much grateful for my mother and I love my mum very much... happy mylotting

very well said,thanks for posting such a beautiful topic.you are right about mother.for me mother is the most beautiful creation ever.I love my mother more than anyone else in this world.whenever i am out of my house or i am not with my mother & i think about her,i feel helpless to stop my tears come out.I don't have enough words to explain hoe lucky i feel about having a mother,there are people who lost their mothers,there are people who do not love or care their mother,whatever the reason is,i think them unluckiest & poorest people. as far as boy & girl is concerned,I think both are attached with their mother,it varies from person to person,but a girl along with the attachment can understand her mother very well.

When i saw this story i think i am moved.Mother's will come in this weekend Sunday. I know i love my mum deeply.But i never said"i love you mum to her",I always make her get anger,and sadly.Now we are live in different country until now i know how much i love her.

Im a girl and Im very attached to my mother, she is my best friend. She has taught me most of the important life lessons that have shaped me into who I am. She taught me into believe in myself, like words can't even describe how much I love her :)

hi yeah all the boys in this world are more attached to their mothers than fathers while in case of girls-it is opposite-they are more attached to their fathers-but this is only till they are single-once they get married-i think they will always be more attached to their spouses and probably that is how it shud be.i read somewhere that boys love their mother more than any other woman in the world till they bring home a wife.

I used to think that it was boys that were much closer to mum but since I've had my daughter I've had to change my view. My little girl is seven and we are very close and I know that if we survive the dreaded teenage years we always will be. I think that boys and girls can be just as close to mum; if they have a good relationship. I would like to think that my daughter feels that she can tell me anything.

I love my Mom very much and I really wish that we lived closer together so we could spend time with each other as we used to do. I guess I have no one to blame for the distance between us but myself though. I am the one who chose to get married and move so far away. I really don't know which gender is more attatched to Mom. My brothers and I are all very close to her.

I like the words"God can't be everywhere so he make mother" I'm a girl and I really attached to mum, my mum mean everything to me, and I can't image what can I do without her, I really love her, now I'm just finished school, and I don't have enough money, but I want to earn enough money, and make my mom have a happy life, and buy a house for her, I am far from her now, we are in different city, and I really miss her. I think the mother is greatest in the world.

Yes i truly respect and love my mother a lot. Without her i am nothing. She brought me to this earth and it is my duty to take good care of her. I feel girls are more emotional and they are well attached to their mother. guys in other hand are not that affectionate as girls. We understand her needs very well even before she says. So of course girls are better care takers.

well when i was little i was really all to my mom and now that i am older its kind of equal

i am also a boy and i really love my mum so much. I would step infront of a bullet for my mum, and i feel like i can talk to her any way i want. She is my rock and my best mate i never want to lose her

A good question, as far as my personal opinion is concerned I will say that Boys are more attached with Mom.
