is it okay to play in the rain when your not a kid anymore?

I remember when I was just a kid, I would feel excited when the rain pours down. I immediately ask for my mom or my nanny ( if my mom's not home ) to allow me to play in the rain. The feeling of being a kid is still fresh and to reminisce those times, I sometimes wish I could be a kid again. But it doesn't stop there, I'm a teenager now and childishly, I still play in the rain but of course most of those times are with my friends. We enjoy each other's company actually, we run around the field like we're children who are so fond in playing and goofing around. We even played soccer even when the rain pours down very hard. We enjoyed it too much that we didn't care about the mud all around our body & face or how dirty we were. It's really a memorable experience. I've catch a cough and cold after that but then I still don't regret doing those. Memories at that moment are both cherished and enjoyed. You'll only be a youth once, so once and for all, live it like you want it to be.There's really nothing wrong with it. If you will doing it,it's your choice basically.*ciao*

I don't think it is anything wrong to play in the rain after you are grow up.Playing in rain gives you pleasure & happiness.So, it is nice if you play in the rain.

Hi there Queenee! I think that life is short and the only way to live it is to enjoy it! If you feel like playing in the rain, as long as you're not hurting anyone, then by all means, do it! I don't see anything wrong with it and I played in the rain about a couple of years ago and I was twenty-four already back then.

I don't see anything wrong in playing in the rain especially if you enjoy doing it. For me doing what you love is a form of relaxation, a way to relieve you of your stress. Just don't over do it because you might catch a cold if you do.

Depends what you do when you play in the rain. I do know what you mean though i love sitting inside listening and watching the rain it is one of my favourite things. I also like it when im playing football and it rains as i love being caught out in it. I am a big fan of a massive thunder storm.

Well i like rain too.When i was young .i always standed on the balcony and touch the drop of the rain..i am still remrember that feeling.it was so nice.But i do't like the storm.When it comes i think it will stir up our room.i hate this things.. Until now when it rains it always reminds me of my happiness time

its so funny that you bring this up because a couple of months ago was our last good rain and my boyfriend and i went to an outdoor flea market. I have always had fun jumping in puddles, i mean ive always felt that if your lower pant legs gets wet its gonna dry pretty quickly so its not a big deal. But when i jumped in a puddle and got my bf wet, he got mad :( so i guess maybe i am too old to play in the rain according to him

Do what ever it is that makes YOU happy! Don't worry about what everybody else thinks!! Now don't play in the rain if it's thundering and lightening out or you could get electrocuted and I wouldn't want to see that happen! But heck, if it's just plain rain, why not? You enjoy it so go for it and have fun!! Life is too short to worry about what others think!! Go enjoy yourself!!

I like both watching it, as well as jumping around in it, makes all my problems go away, and I get to be silly. I don't care if people are watching me when I do it, sometimes they join in because they see that I'm having fun doing, and they need to relive some stress too lol

hhahahah!!! same here, im afraid of rains when i was a kid. but now, its okay., but still dont like coz its messy, LOL playing in the rain is cool, but its not proper i think at my age to play with it. LOL

I might just play in the rain today. We've had two straight weeks of cloudy, rainy weather here where I live. And since I'm so sick of having to stay in....I may go outside today just to let out some energy and have some fun! :-)

i already try on bathing in the rain even though i'm already grown up, i love bathing in the rain, it seems that life is beautiful to live with and all your sorrows and pain will go by.

Being an adult is not easy as we all know. People tend to observe the childish behaviour and label them as crazy or immature . But don't let this stop you. If you feel like playing in the rain then go ahead get yourself a good doze of rain. However make sure no one saw you doing it. lol. I used to love rain a lot when i was a kid. Even now, at times i go out in the terrace and have a good time jumping outside. I'm glad that i got some crazy friends who also likes rain like me. Since we are all staying in hostel, we always have fun in the rain now and then. I often get a good lecture from my bf about how it will give me cold and stuffs.. But who cares. As long as i'm happy, it's definitely worth it.

I hear you I'm 29 and still love playing in the rain.I love watching it also.Its one one to reduce stress also.So Go have fun in the rain I know I will.

If you want to go play in the rain, GO PLAY IN THE RAIN. Don't hold yourself back just because you think you'd look weird. I LOVE playing in the rain and I'm 19, I will never stop as long as I am physically able.

I haven't done it in a while, but I used to love taking walks in the rain. I don't know if i looked like a crazy person, just strolling down the street, soaking wet. But, I really didn't care about how I looked. there's just something that appeals to me, maybe its the water, or the smell of rain in the air, or the fact that everyone else is trying so hard to stay dry and I've just given in to being wet.

I say we have to keep in touch with our childish side because it helps us get past our problems easier and it's also a lot of fun.So there is nothing wrong with doing something foolish once in a while without thinking it over 10 times because that's what life is all about,spontaneously. It's not like we're going to live forever.We might as well enjoy life to the fullest and never look back even when we make mistakes. Take care.

Well, it's not that bad to play in the rain even though you're that old. Here in my place, when it rains many people play in the rain with their kids. It's not bad to watch people play in the rain. I think it makes you feel like a child again and relieves stress, and even slows the aging process. So play in the rain! And happy earning!

Life is very short and i think if playing in the rain is fun for you and you enjoy it then do it. I take walks in the rain and still play in the rain sometimes even though I am 28 and for some reason sometimes it can be relaxing.

yup i find it is okey to play in the rain when we are not kid anymore because ther is no age limit for fun but we have to be in our boundaries.it gives avery great experience to play inthe rain
