I want Joanna Lumley to stand for Parliament - I hope I am not alone...

Joanna Lumley humiliated Prime Minister Gordon Brown with consummate ease and grace, highlighting the fact that the UK is led by people totally out of touch with the people. Our government is characterless: http://www.thecreditcruncher.com/2009/05/joanna-lumley-outsmarts-gordon-brown.html According to impressionist Rory Bremner we are in the middle of a political character crunch... My question to you, is would you vote for the 'Absolutely Fabulous Party' and would you want it to be led by 'Patsy' or 'Perdey'?

You're certainly not alone! I agree that she's humiliated Brown and forced him into taking action he certainly didn't want to take. Her actions last night were a masterstroke: by coming out and saying she trusted Brown to do the right thing, she's backed him into a corner - he either does exactly what she wants, or he is exposed as an untrustworthy liar. Brilliant! She should definitelt stand for parliament - it's about time we had political leaders who are in touch with what ordinary people think.

looks like he might be exposed as untrustworthy - a true politician...

The politic thing won't bother me anymore! I used to worry about the goverment a lot! Now I realize that it was all much ado about nothing. If life is complicated already, why did I still hit myself with something else. Anyway, I will be kind, polite, graceful as a person. So, sorry, I wanted to respond your discussion since I fould that you had been Cardiff. My senior classmate had studied in Cardiff University for years and she kept showing off to me, which reverberated like thunder.lol. Every dog has his day. Well, she is going up to Oxford in October further her study. So, Cardiff is just familar! Still, I won't judge anything about politic, sorry Take care!

Thanks for replying hiddenwing - the world is smaller then we think. We have a lot of different nationalities in Cardiff, a place worth showing off I think...
