FIRST, I AM NOT AGAINST OF GAYS. i HAVE MY OPINION, BUT I THINK THAT IF I AM NOT AFFECTED, ALL IS POSSIBLE. SO, I START THIS TOPIC JUST BECAUSE WAS A TERRIBLE WAR TO MY SON SCHOOL. a STRAIGHT FAMILY DON T LET THE SON OF FAMILY TO BE FRIEND WITH A BOY WHO COME FROM A GAY FAMILY. OF COURSE THAT THIS BOY WAS ADOPTED.
I CAN SAY THAT MY SON IS FRieND WITH THIs BOY, AND MY SON HAVE A GIRLFRIEND...SO, NOTHING WRONG HAPPENED, I MEAN THIS BOY WHO COME FROM A GAY FAMILY DON T HAVE BAD INFLUENCE TO MY BOY. i RESPECT HIS PARENTS TOO, WE SAY HELLO..HELLO. NO PROBLEM.
BUT SOMETIMES I ASK MYSELF. is wrong or is not wrong to let your son to be friend with a boy who come from a gay family?

I would allow my son to be friends, being gay has nothing to due with being friends. I was taught that it's the person inside that matters not what the person is on the outside. If they are a good person isn't that more impotant then if they are gay or not.

Your right, to each their own, That being said I teach my kids not to judge other people. so your saying that all of your friends are exactly like you the: same religion, same thoughts, same political views. The world is made up of so many different kind of people. I'm not saying that your way or my way is right, All I'm saying is that would you want your child told I can't be friends with you because we may not see eye to eye.

and tht is so true...I've raised my kids to not judge others and their differences as well...after all its our differences that make us who we are and make the world go round right

No I wouldnt, I would be a afraid it will rub off on him. I think people should stick with there own kind. I don't have notthing against them but I woldn't want me Son or Grandsons hanging around them, Birdsofa Feather flock together, you heard of that saying?

I have to agree with you ravenladyj. I can't imagine my life without some of the frinds that I have. We all have different views and such. I would hate to walk around with a questionnaire asking future friends do you believe in this or that.We would all miss out on so many great people. But I guess everyone is entilted to their options, it's just a shame that some people cannot be more open.I could never live my life like that.

I would have no problem with any of my children being a friend to another child, whether they came from a straight, or gay familey. the only time that i had any objections was when they started to get involved with other kids that were not a good influence on them or were leading them to do the wrong things.

i don't think there is not any thing wrong with being friends with some one that thinks different than you or acts different than you
