Can the Ten Commandments be a passes to heaven?

did you able to obey the ten commandments? if you did then is it enough to be your passes to heaven? can it guarantee entrance and residence in paradise?

I'll post that verse for the sake of others:
" For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

we always fall short. we are able to keep one or eight but not all. we will be in paradise if we believe . when we believe we follow, obey w/o question anyway we can be certain that what he has in store is best for us .passes to heaven is having jesus as lord and savior,a life lived where lordship of jesus is manifested.its not a one day thing for salvation is for those who can endure up to the end.ask, seek, knock, you will find .god bless.

Well, from my understanding, the 10 commandments is some sort of guide to the people here. It is also a rule, but I know people tend to break them. Some say they follow the commandments so they always think they are now saved. But I don't think that is it. We should also live by these commandments by heart, we follow God because it is what are heart desires and another thing, as long as we repent from our sins maybe just maybe our soul can be saved from eternal damnation.
