Do you maintain good relations with your neighbours?

Well,honestly,i want to maintain harmony and good relationship with my neighbours,but i failed with my busy work and i frequently move.Everyday i commute to my workplace early and late get home,there's not time and i've been tired.On the leisure,i rather spend time to sleep and surf net .

I quite agree with your opinion.Sometimes people tend to pay more attention to their online friends and ignore the people who are living around them.They may even don't know their neighbours.As for me,I have been on good terms with my neighbours for all these years.We often visit each other and help each other in our daily life.Good relationship with my neighbours is really important to me! I like it when you mention about the cyber bug. I would love to become the neighborhood friendly spider, LOL. I think that it is very important to maintain good relations with our neighbors especially the ones that are real close to us or perhaps just next door. In a community, its good to look out for one another and we might have family members that stay distances away from us. The immediate relation that we sort of have would be neighbors and they are the ones that would look out for us in times of need. Like my very kind heart neighbor, they consist of a very caring family and would always spare a thought to others as well as my family. I'm so happy to get good neighbors. On the other hand, there are others near my vicinity that are quite smog or snob, is the word. But luckily they are not on my floor level. I will always make it a point to be on good terms with my neighbors.

I feel the same way.Nowaday many people like to meet new friends and keep touch with friends on internet.People overlook maintain good relations with them whom maybe live next door.Well,I think the same interest is very important to maintain good relations with others.Because i like to plant flowers and have little baby,i maintain good relations with the people who like flowers too or have little baby too.

Sometimes, it is hard to initiate conversation, especially if your neighbor is a snub. But I do exert effort to know my next door neighbor...

When it comes to the terms 'neighbor', there is one thing in my mind: Heart warming. I've been surrounded by lovely neighbors, I sometimes send meals, and they would send meals back, etc. I enjoy the neighborhood here, but there are times that they would love to chat so long that makes me forget my chores... lol... That's the bad thing when you have over too nice neighbors... But anyway, I really love to maintain relationship with them as I know that they do the same too.

I maintain good relations with my neighbors. Neighbors are the nearest person whom you can run to, they are your nearest friends who could offer you help. They are the people around who are nice and easy to get well along with.

I rarely talk to my neighbors because we rarely see each other. We're really such busy people and I don't think we have enough free time to mingle. However, rarely speaking to each other does not mean that we do not like each other or that we do not have good relationship. As a matter of fact, whenever we bump into each other, we smile or nod or have a chit chat.

I agree completely! I do think, too, it depends on your neighborhood. I live in a neighborhood of townhouses. About half of them are owner-occupied. The other half are rentals. There are constantly people moving in and out! I have lived in my house for almost 4 years. I only know neighbors from 3 houses well. There are a few others that I have met. There are several that I will wave to when I see. But mostly, people in my neighborhood keep to themselves. It is hard to find the opportunity to meet someone when they are rarely home and even less frequently outside! Growing up, we knew everyone in the neighborhood! I hope the next house we buy is part of a more open, friendly neighborhood. It is nice to have local people who you are friends with and can trust if you ever need help!

Yes i do maintain healthy neighborly relationships. I allot three days in a year for this purpose. One day is ganesh chathurdhasi, a famous indian festival, second one On independence day, and third one is new years party. So all our neighbors meet on those days. each contribute some money. Food is prepared and sometimes sports are conducted. we really enjoy those days. I like bible quotation love thy neighbor as thy love yourself.

Hello Ilawise, I do keep very good and healthy relationships with my neighbors. Believe it or not neighbors, play a very important role in your life. I have neighbors that accepts my USPS packages, when I'm not home and I will fdo the same for them. I don't believe neighbors should aurgue, fuss and fight, because in fact you do need each other for one reason or need.
