whats funny is that till late its been almost something weird about men cooking. i would say for maybe before 1960 or 70's its been strange if a man did it besides a chef. its great to see that women are now loving this. i being male would love to cook for my lady if i had one. i stumbled on the love for making food because some people's food that was made for me as a kid was crap. also because i learned to do for myself. when meeting women they asked if i can cook and when i did make anything for them they always loved it. don't get it wrong though, some dudes suck to hell fire when it comes to the gauntlet of cooking. i say a gauntlet because if you don't show love or respect for the creative spirit and science in the artform of cooking you may suck at it. i never thought that much of it because growing up we all took turns in my house cooking.. but i got so good at it, it became like second nature. it was something to do, i was always an outsider and a outcast so that helped me cope being a loner. when i do meet my lady in the near future she'll be happy with her tummy full of my 3 cheese macaroni and devil egg meatloaf. unless she can't have any dairy or hates eggs.lol

i am married and my husband dont know even to make tea for himself, so i have never experienced the joy of eating food made by my man. I think it would be great pleasure being with the man and sitting and watch him cook, and then he serves you with his own hands ...wow what an imagination !!!

Its not a turn on if a man cooks for me. Just makes my life easier and appreciate the fact that he's got the talent to make food! Although sometimes just seeing him in an apron (with nothing underneath!) does lead to some romantic actions..

Hi Bhabytart,
I think i am lucky. My boyfriend cooked for me twice. He is actually a better cook than i do, but he hardly cook. When i asked him to do it, he will do it. If i don't ask, he will just take me out or let me cook. My dad is atually a better cook than my mom, but most of the time, my mom is the one who cook for us. Strange, huh, those who don't cook much atually make more delicious dishes.

It's a turn on for me I love it when my hubby treats me to a meal. He loves to grill and I absolutely adore it when he cooks or tries to cook in the kitchen we usually cook together I'll do the main course and he'll help with the rest. It makes the meal more enjoyable and we have "FUN" doing it. haha that was a pun sorry any ways back to the subject. If he can cook yes it's a turn on it means he's independent and knows how to take care of himself. I enjoyed this topic very much makes me thankful for the man in my life.

My husband cooks better than I. It turns me on of course. He never hates me even though I am not good in cooking. But when I cook he eats a lot, maybe he is just hungry. Lol! For me a good asset of a man is when he knows how to cook and he cooks good. Most chefs our there are men so I guess I have the right to just know a little. More lol!

I love it when my partner cooks for me and I do like a man that can cook. It shows a certain sense of independence and it also means that my man does not need to rely on me, or anyone else for that matter when it comes to having a full stomache. When a man cooks for a woman it also displays thoughtfulness and therefore will always increase a loving bond that already exists between two people.

I wouldnt say that it is a 'turn on'. My husband will occassionally cook for me. I love it! It is so nice to know that he appreciates all I do, and shows it by cooking for me once in a while.
It is also a good feeling, because I know that if I am ever not home to make dinner, he will still be able to make something for himself! It is nice to not have to stress about leaving something for him for dinner while I cant be there.
I do think that cooking for someone is much more of a turn on than taking them to a restaurant, though. It just shows so much more thought and effort.
