Tea is extremely good for you, it contains antioxidants which can act as a useful agent to help protect against cancer-causing chemicals. Tea is not poisonous, though I have heard that you can get caffeine poisoning from Coffee, so maybe that should be taken into consideration - tea contains caffeine too but a much smaller amount. I remember watching a television program not so long ago about an elderly lady, I'm sure she was about 110 or near enough. They asked her how she stayed so healthy and she basically just said that she gets plenty of sleep and makes sure she drinks plenty of tea. It helps you to relax too. Tea is actually very very good for you!

110 year old woman. Wow. That proves tea is not healthy. Of course have it with not too much sugar and as fresh as possible. Caffeine poisoning did you say. I havent heard of it yet. Must find out. I drink quite a bit of coffee.

Well, it doesn't prove it, but it's an example and the antioxidant thing is fact. I only heard about caffeine poisoning recently. I didn't know you could get it either until a few weeks ago.

Excess consumption of anything is bad right. How is tea different? No tea is not bad for us. There is a philosophy. Do everything but in moderation. Follow the funda and ice creams also can be healthy for you

Exactly. It's even possible to die from drinking too much water which I believe is known as hyponotraemia (not sure if I spelled that right) and obviously if you keep pumping anything into your body, no matter what it is, until you just can't take any more then it's going to have a negative effect.

There is a name or term for dying from excess water intake? Wow. That is news to me. Thanks for telling me this. Yes though anything in excess is bad. But then that doesnt make tea unhealthy.
