too much exercise can be harmful

Althought exercise is good too much can be harmful. Study show that one can reach to a position in exercising as a compulsive exercise or obligatory exercise and anorexia athletica. it is a state where he or she no longer chooses to exercise, but feels compelled to do so and struggles with quilt and anxiety if he or she does not work out. It does not matter what happen nothing will stop that person from exericse, whether ilness, injury, and outing with friends. None of these will will deter those who compulsively exercise. In a sense, exercise takes over a compulsively exerciser life. Because he or she plans life around it. According to experts exercising beyond the requirements for good health is an indicator of compulsive behaviour, but because differrent amounts of exercise is appropriate for different people, it covers a large scale of activitie levels. However according to study several workouts a day, everyday, is overdoing it for almost anyone.

Hi Wiily6! Well you're correct... too much exercise is really not good for the health. I think, anything if its too much is bad. So, better do an exercise in a moderate way to get best and healthy results. Cheers! Happy mylotting...

wow, detailed explanation on exercise. I didn't know much of it until I read your discussion here. Thanks, I don't really exercise that a lot, but I do exercise sometimes. Hopefully, that is healthy.

It is very true that too much is of anything is harmful whether of exercise or any other thing. In exercise not only too much is harmful but the wrong way of doing or wrong kind of exercise is also harmful as requirement of person is different from individual to individual. so that is the reason why all the exercise forum or clubs having coaches there.

Hi, for me exercise is important to keep healthy life, i do agreed to much of exercise can make you injured. The most important in doing exercise is just take 20 to 30 minutes everyday and the best way is walking fast in the park. It is true that too much exercises a day can bring more harm than good. It is important not to overdo it. You're right that different people need different exercise. It is important to ask for advice from the doctor if we used to/having health problem as some exercise can be harmful even if it's not to some.

Um.. i agree 50-50 % with you... We all know that exercise keeps our body fit and healthy..But if it done in over rate,, it can result very bad...for e.g it can reduce our height when we do more and more weight lifting exercises,,,,But regular exercise is compulsory to stay fit and fine..
