i love german shepards

Hi Noemi533 I like German Shepards too I have had a couple of them in my lifetime they are great dogs they don't shed a whole lot (not as much as a shaggy breed the hair is not as long) my shepards were feisty and full of energy . And they were both very affectionate they can be pretty good watch dogs too

You are right, german shepherds are probably the most faithful kind of dog out there. I do not know about prices of dogs however, they usually get offered around here whenever a mom dog has a bunch of newborns. And haha, I guess NY isn't the best place to have a german shepherd around, wouldn't you say? Good luck, anyway.

I got my german shepherd puppy from a kennel. I don´t live in your country so things might be different here. First I checked on Internet. They had all these places where they breed german shepherds here. Then I called and went to see for myself in two of the places that suited me best. My Lola was less expensive because, even if she had the right parents (champions and all that) she didn´t meet the requirements to become one of those dogs that go to dog shows. As I wasn´t interested in that, I got her. If I could do this in Chile, I´m sure you can do the same in NY. Take care and keep us posted. I am enclosing a picture of Lola, my girl.

German Shepherds are typically expensive. You can try puppyfind.com or puppyfinder.com to locate a puppy. They list many litters available with a broad price range. Best of luck finding a new companion!

Baby herman shepard is pretty expensive, I remember seeing the adv they cost around 800-1500 from the breeders, I think you can try looking at the classified post on the newspaper, craisglist or go to http://www.petfinder.com, I hope you good luck!
