Is it because you want to ask for something, some topic just pop up in your mind or you think of a nice topic for anyone to answer? As for me its hard to think of a topic that would interest everyone. I post topic when i have in mind or when need answer for some thing. But when I see discussions with more than hundred of response, Im really amazed with them and envy them a little. Lolz. But not that much. I just wish that I could have like that too. How about you? Do you envy them? How do you feel when your discussion has many responses. Do you read them all?

Its really hard to earn if we cant find any topic that would interest us. And starting a discussion is one good thing to earn here.

I usually start a discussion when I need to ask a question or If I want to debate about a certain topic. But most times I prefer to respond to discussions as that gives me something to do here on my lot! I do try to comment on all my posts but they are times I forget that I actually put a post there!

I read them all yes.
I normally start discussions when I have questions in my mind.
If I have watched a movie or read a book.
Sometimes because of my studies I get interested in what people think about different topics.
It is fun. Though lately I have not been very productive.
Take care.

I also try to read them all. In my discussions the highest number of response I got is 42, it wasnt really hard to read them all compare to the one with hundred responses but its also feels amazing if you get that number of responses in your discussion.

I rarely ask a question as I have only done it three or four times and I ask them because I have some information I need or am curious as the what responses I will get on the subject. I do not ask random questions just to make $. Mostly I will answer others questions.
So far I have answered the responders to my questions. I do not know what I would do if I had hundreds of responses whether I would have the patience to do so.

I don't really start alot of discussions. I am more of a reponder.
But the few discussions that I have started, it is because I want advice on something, or different point of views that is happening in my life so that I can take the appropiate action. I may think that doing something might be right but some one else can come a long and say do something else. It may be something that I may not even think of and could be more sensible.

I started a discussion here on mylot to get a feel of what this website is about. It was discouraging because I got only one response. Anyhow, I'm still here having fun reading the discussions and participating in them. As for starting discussions, I have put them on hold. Call it phobia, lol.

Im sure soon you'll get many responses. At first I also got only one to five responses sometimes even no response at all. I feel really bad that i feel i dont want to start discussion anymore. But I find out that it happens to everyone here to have no response in their discussion. I feel better then after I found out. So now I dont worry if i get response or not but I cant deny that having many responses is really overwhelming. Happy mylotting!

I start topics for a variety of reasons, some because I have something on my mind that I want to work out, others just for plain silliness, and others just because of something that happened that I feel like sharing. I never try to find a topic that will appeal to everyone, I just find topics that interest me, and if by chance they interest a few others, that's good. Occasionally you hit on something that tons of people feel the need to respond to, and often its not what you would expect. Start a topic on gay marriage and you will get a whack of responses, however a topic on why guacamole is green might just get twice as many responses for no apparent reason. This topic will probably get quite a few responses as well.

I prefer to respond to a discussion if it catches my eye. I guess that is my main reason. It should be an interesting topic and well worded. It should be able to get the points across without any ambiuaity. I do envy people who get tons of comments to their posts and makes me wonder how i can become a comment magnet myself. I really love it when my posts get many comments and I become truly happy.

I start a discussion if there is a thought I have in mind that I want people to talk about or to hear their opinions about it. I don't necessarily start to increase the earnings or points. If I have good points I share if none I just respond just like this one. Yes, I read all responses and rate them. There is what you call a writer's block and I always have that. hahahaha. so im better with responding. Of course i feel happy when a lot of people can relate to my thoughts. Take care =)

Well I dont have this one criteria for starting a discussion. At times I need advice. I start a discussion. There are times when I want an opinion. Sometimes I looking for something. There are aslo times where I want to know what others found interesting. Or I may begin a discussion where I would discuss a topic like a book or a movie with similar minded people or those who did or did not like the movie or book or song.
I feel very happy when I receive many responses. My heart jumps with joy. Who will not be happy. Ya I envy the people who get sooooo many responses. But then they have caught the pulse of what people want to discuss.

This site is really a great site to speak out mind. If we feel that no one is listening to us. Or you just share something in our mind. It feels glad to have this kind of site.

Hi, angelbelle578! I usually will start a discussion because I have something that I need an answer to. And I want to seek out others opinions on a topic. I also like to know how others feel about many issues that we all deal with in life. I don't envy others whom have more responses than me. I am just amazed at how they can create an discussion that interests others as much as they do. I love when I get many responses, it means that people enjoy what I am discussing, and they find my topic interesting. I do my best to read most of my responses to my discussions. If I don't, I will go back at a later time to read the rest of the responses.

I started a discussion, after responding others as I think there's a need to. Starting a discussion contributes to our earnings, thou quite disappointing if got few response but am happy as long as others take time commenting. In a week time I just start 2 or 3 discussions as I preferred sometimes responding to others. If there is an important issue I have to raise, however I started a discussion, or there are topics relevant to be discussed, I don't hesitate to start a discussion. Am excited to read responses to my discussion no matter how many and appreciate by answering or commenting to their responses. I admire those who have hundred or less tan hundred responses and of course wish could make it too.

I usually start a discussion because it's fun reading the replies I receive. I haven't received as much as a hundred responses yet, so I can't really say if I could read them all. But I'll definitely try to.

Two minds are better than one. Dicusssion is very important to reach a right conclusion and unanimous decision. I love to share my thoughts with other and love to be enlightened by their insighful comments to do better in times ahead. Personal egos or vanity must be taken aside when it comes to learning and improving your knowledge. Humility and courtesy can do wonders for you in acquiring a great knowledge. Always remember that a branch laden with fruit is always bending.
