Scripture - John 13:34 John 15:12 John 15:17 In all three these verses Jesus reminds His desciples, and us, that we should love one another. The time that Jesus was saying these things is shortly before His death. He knows what lies ahead for His followers when He is not around in the flesh anymore. jesus knew that the only way for us to stay strong is if we love one another. Without love we will be driven apart from one another and no Christian can make it on his own. We need people, especialy other believers, to help and support us in time of difficulty. There comes times when we might slack off in our faith, or even be faced with doubt or questioning. It is in these times that we need fellow believers to encourage us. If it were not for love for others, just think what this world would come to. Jesus set the example in love, we should learn from Him and adhere to His words so we can continue the work that He started. Let God be glorified in the love that we as followers of Jesus is living and spreading. May you be blessed to be a blessing.
