My hubby always like to take the bowl after I make the dough especially the cookie dough and he likes to try the bread dough sometimes too. I don't know why, I know they are eatable but I feel it tastes gross... I just don't like it, I only it when the dough or batter is well done baked.
What about you?

I loved it when I was a child and I still do. I always scrape the bowl and it it when I make cookies or cakes for my grandchildren. My mom used to tell me I´d get worms in my stomach but that didn´t hinder me. You c
an tell the same thing to that hubby of yours and see what happens
Take care and happy posting

Thanks to CostCo, you don't even have to wait to lick the bowl! They sell already pre-made, preform chocolate chip cookie batter. I buy a box of 72 and generally we only cook a dozen. The rest have been snagged up as individual bite size snacks by the rest of the family- raw. I myself indulge with a couple watching TV. The fear of the raw eggs never has bothered me. Most everyone I know eats raw dough from time to time and Ive never known someone to get sick.
The difference between you and your husband is just a flavor thing. Some people like baked beans cold and some prefer them heated, etc. I don't think either one of you is right or wrong. Let him indulge, your just going to wash the extra down the sink anyways.

I would much rather eat chocolate chip cookie dough than the actual baked cookie. I like it so much better!! I have been known to, on occasion, buy a Pillsbury roll of dough and slice it and eat it right out of the package. Or make a batch of cookie dough just for that purpose. Not all the time, mind you, because it's really not good to do and because it would make me so sick (as in another discussion you had here), but once in a while as a treat - I do so enjoy the raw dough.

I like the raw cookie dough it is so yummy and i just can take a spoon full right out of the fridge and eat it for a snack. I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all and it taste good so why not? I also like the cookies when they are just right out of the oven and still hot and not so hard yet because those taste so good too.
I also eat the raw bread dough, that is really good to and i don't think it is bad for yourself so why not eat it? I like the pillsbury dough boy read dough that you can make biscuits with, that dough is really good.

I've always liked sticking my fingers in the batter for cookies but that's about it. The rest just isn't up to par until it's cooked.
