Who makes the best green tea?

Just recently, a friend of mine recommended that I start drinking green tea for health benefits. So many life saving anti-oxidants in green tea that can help prevent disease. I've heard that Japanese green tea is especially nutritious, but I have never used it. Who makes the best green tea? And, is there any special method used to prepare green tea? Would love to know. Thanks!

Where will we get Japanese green tea. Tea by itself has anti oxidants. I have never tried green tea. How does it taste. Is it very light. Because I need my tea to be a bit strong. I dont have black tea. I mix a certain amount of milk in it. So does the green tea taste good with the milk.

I have tried a mango flavored green tea. But wasn't sure if it was Lipton. I don't drink it regularly so I'm not sure.

I would have to say that Tazo tea company makes the best green tea. I found it when I was in college, that was the kind we sold. It is sooo good and you don't have to add anything into it to sweeten it or anything.

As you say green tea has alot of health benefits. If its made properly it tastes terrible. You just heat the water, bring it to boiling point. Please do not let it boil.Once it reaches boiling point put 3 grams of tea leaves and close the vessel.Leave it for 2-3 minutes.Strain and have your green tea.It should never be strong it should be only mild.Enjoy your green tea and enjoy good health too.

I do not think I have ever tasted green tea before but I have heard of it's nutritional benefits. My fiance's grandmother drinks the stuff, and I'd love to try it one day. I'm fully prepared for it to taste very nasty though, because I know that anything that's healthy isn't always the most delicious tasting. I believe lipton makes Green Tea, but I wonder if it's healthier steamed or cold.
