This is a shot of one of many blossoms on my Honey Crisp apple tree. My Harlared has the start of blossoms but they have yet to get past the bud stage. Another week and they'll blosswom as well I think. I've seen bees and butterflies around. So now it is their duty to pollionaTE THE TREES FOR ME SO i CAN BAKE A LOT OF FRESH APPLE PIES. dO YOU BAKE YOUR OWN PIES FROM HOMEGROWN FRUIT? oR BAKE THEM AT ALL FROM SCRATCH?

We love our red rasberry bushes as well. A handful picked in the morning to add to a bowl of cereal is always a welcomed treat.

My grandson planted some pumpkin seeds. Once they come up and we have pumpkins, we are going to bake a pumpkin pie. I have many times made fresh pies before. I don't have a fruit trees, I do have some rasberry plants. I just like to pick and eat them.

My son is bringing me some Giant Pumpkin seeds this SAunday. They supposedly grow up to 500lb pumpkins. I just hope it's not too late here for them as we get cold and frost in September sometimes.

All our blossom has gone now and the summer flowers are starting to bloom but unfortunately, the weather has turned... gone colder, wetter and windier again. It's a bit like March and all the blossom has been blown off the trees. My lilac lasted only about a week before they started getting battered.
I bake blackberry and apple crumble, and apple pies, sometimes rhubarb crumble. I often have apples and rhubarb given to me and the blackberries are in plenty around here so I pick those in August. I love home-baked pies and crumble.
Brightest Blessings, my friend.

My nectarine and plum trees are in bloom right now,
and the bees have been buzzing around all day.
Quite bucolic.

I love seeing the bees and butterflies as it signifies future fruit.

I'm not so good at baking, but recently I've found a recipe for caramel apple pecan pie that comes out really good. I buy my apples from a farm near here that has a lot of varieties of apples, but I would love to have my own tree. I have a couple of pear trees that have never produced anything but blossoms. I used to fertilize them, but gave up finally after years of non-production.

That's great, I don't have any fruit trees in my yard. My daughter moved into a house last summer that has apple trees in her back yard. I think I will take a look at them to see if they are in bloom. If so I will be picking and making apple pies too sometime this year.
Happy Pie Baking to us.

That is very nice. I have never grown any fruits before or made any pies yet with fruit.
