Yea.. I also go for www.limewire.com. It is pretty good. I find it very easy to use.

I think it safest to just use a program such as bearshare, limewire, or torrent (www.utorrent.com for the program) and www.torrentz.com to search for the torrent mostly because if you use a direct download site, they come with a price, most likely spywares and adwares which are really anoying to get rid off if you don't have the protection for it

I think Bearshare...its not a website..but a peer to peer software..with this software you can search the music and download from other peers.. Its very easy and reliable... Download the software from Www.download.com Imesh is also such kind of software...
