The world needs a Cynthie doll

I'm going to speak to the Toy Manufacturers and ask them to make a Cynthie Doll. She wouldn't be anything like Barby or Sindy or any of the rest.
For starters, her face would not be perfect. Her left eyebrow is definitely higher than the right one. She would not have protruding bones but lots of other soft protruding places as she could really do to lose some weight.
Laugh lines would be included along with her one crooked tooth that has defied the efforts of many a dentist
She would be past middle age with brown shortish hair that has blonde highlights and dressed in jeans and her son's tee shirts. (Mother: will you stop wearing our clothes)
If you pressed her tummy she would throw back her head and laugh. She laughs a lot.
So, how would you like the toy manufacturer to make your doll?

It would not sell. If most people wanted to see something like that they would only have to look in the mirror.

It's the plain uninteresting people who make the world go round, they are the one's who work behind the scenes. I have been called pretty and cute so I am not ugly but I am interesting I am also plain. I think lots of people would buy "uninteresting dolls" they are more real for their kids than fake barbies.

Now that is not nice of you! It is not what you want but what children would want. We are giving children the wrong information if they are told that they have to look like Barbie! What is wqrong with children seeing ordianry looking dolls?

It is the same hypocrisy that people tell little girls that looks do not count its what's inside that counts, and then gives them Barbie or Bratz fashion dolls to play with, dress them up to look sexy in kiddies pageants while mummy and daddy watch beauty pageants on television and goo and gah over the latest sexy movie star who has good looks but barely passable talent.
I am on your side, I am not saying that to be cruel. If I am wrong this is a perfect marketing opportunity for you to start a new line of plain uninteresting dolls. Good luck.

Hi ya cynthiann
Ah ha your so funny sometimes Cynth!! My doll would be vertically challenged, overwieght and a woman of today. She would be a single mum with a couple of kids or so. She would have messy hair, no make up and scruffy clothes because she wouldn't have time for all that! LOL Her accessories would be a vacuum cleaner, cooker and toolbox LOL She would laugh a lot too because if she didn't she would cry LOL

Yep, we have to learn to laugh as a way to cope. Re family meetings - we used to have them when the children were young up to the late teen years. They always grianed but thewy lisatened and made input. It did help them to realise our financial status and what they could do to help when their father could not longer work. Keep the meetings short! give everyone a chance to talk. End on a high note. will be mostyly absent this week because of work. PC crashed at work and the minutes for the AGM were losty and so I have to fudge and tart things up and jhope that they do not remember what actuaLLY TOOK PLACE! Many BLERSSINGS

The world needs a Suspenseful doll, a little on the short side, with a round oval face and a short neck, she always has hair in her eyes, and no back teeth. She thinks she is a platinum blond but really her hair has turned from brown auburn into white. She wears low cut tops and black slacks or white ones when the black ones are in the wash and wishes that her skirts were a little shorter and she loves to make up stories and wants to get in front of an audience in a concert hall and sing her head off.

It would be short with skinny legs that look like chicken legs sticking out from her capris.....she would be wearing casual clothes like a tee shirt with her capris with sandles. Her face would be somewhat round....a little flab hanging down from her underarms.....a soft middle for holding babies....which by the way they could attach to her hip....she would love babies.

My doll would be short with fat legs that had no fat on them just muscle, little feet and little arms. Short brown hair big tummy and a flat butt. Glasses and big green eyes, and she would be dressed in elastic waisted pants with a t shirt that has a hole here and there oh and don't forget the crocs on her feet with her white socks. Her accessories would be a purse that always falls off her shoulder a cellphone she can never get to in time to answer. she loves to make things at home and never has the time because she is always driving someone around or working.
I think toy companies need to make dolls that are from real women not one's that are fake. Maybe we should all get together and make some and sell them I bet they would sell good.

My doll would be otherwise known as "trailer park Barbie". She'd come complete with a mobile home, and too many kids to keep track of. She wouldn't actually own clothes because she never leaves the house so she just wears her jammies all day. She'd certainly be a bit over weight, with curlers in her hair and a ciggy hanging from her mouth and a baby on each hip with a few more kids clung to her legs. Her car would be old and rusty and in desperate need of many repairs, the kid's faces would be dirty and so would their clothes, and the mobile home would have dirt, smudges, and grease marks all over the place!
Okay, maybe not me to a T, but certainly easier to relate to than the regular Barbie doll!

I love your version, but do let me put in a suggestion. A little baby to be Cynthie's grandbaby who could push on those soft protruding places and giggle!!

Now that is a good idea. I have four grands who love to snuggle up to Cynthie. They call me Cynthie - not Grandma. so now we have cyntie doll with a grand baby. Great. Love it!

It is pretty weird and silly. I wanna have that doll too. Its a rockin doll. But i want to add more about it. Maybe you should try to make its pair too. How about also suggest the toy manufacturer to create a Male version too. I wanted it to wear a baggy shorts and a sneaker. It must also look the same as the Female version.
Wow, i really love dolls so much. And your doll is one of the coolest doll i have heard!

Thank you. It is good to be silly at times - good for stress too! A male version is acceptable and could look the dsame as the female version. Many thanks for the suggerstion.
