Are You Thankful?

hi payout, Your post is very inspirational. Sometimes, because of our busy schedule, we tend to forget the good things around us. You know, what I mean, right? Generally speaking, people have this attitude of being dissatisfied with what they have. They always want something more and cannot be contented with what they have.Well, for me it is alright but it depends on the situation. If someone is poor and then wanted to be rich to have a good life, then it is good. But if someone is already rich and wanted to accumulate more richness just for power, I think its bad. So sad but true, that sometimes, the real cause of unhappiness is not being satisfied of what we have.We almost all of the time have this nature of saying "I wish I were him or I wish I was like that or I wish I can have that." Your post made me remember one article I read on the book. The child there is so sad and always crying because her mom not bought her a new shoes. Then as she walks on the street, she saw someone which has no feet.She found out later on, that although she doesn't have a new shoes, she is still fortunate. It is because she have her both feet. And then she become thankful. As for me, I can say that I am so thankful that I have a good health, body and mind. I have a complete family. I have friends with me. And I have my boyfriend who is always there to support and love me. I finished my degree and passed the board exam for teachers. I also have our own house and my own room unlike other who lives on the street. I can say that all of us participating here in mylot is so lucky. It's because not all of us can experience how to have his or her own computer. Not all of us has given the opportunity to know more about technology through the internet. Nice post. Happy mylotting.

uhm sometimes i feel bad about what is happening to me but then i would realized i should be thankful because in the end what happened to me was for my own good :D i'm also thankful for each that i'm still alive. thankful that hopes has never faded in me even though i have all the reason not to hope anymore. most of all im thankful that i was given the chance to see the beauty of the world :D

Yes I am always thankful to God for many things. I am thankful for life God has given me. It is so beautiful and wonderful. I am always thankful for God's forgiveness in my life. I am thankful that God has forgiven all my sinfulness. Without God's forgiveness I will never become a better person. I am thankful always to God for giving me loving parents and a wonderful sister. There are so many blessings in life we should always be thankful for. Many times we ignore these blessings.

I'm a thankful person,I try to cherish all that I have,and I believe that happiness consists in contentment.Though many people are living a very happy life comparing to some other people,they just keep chasing more. At the same time,they lose something important--their main point of living in the world.The environment keeps reflecting us something beautiful,the more we receive,the happier we are.It's so wonderful to live in such a multivariant world,we don't know what it will give us the next second!I'm writing my comment here in front my computer,feeling calm in heart.I don't have to face complicated problems,just doing what I want to do,I cherish……

i am thankful for all the things that have happened to me in the coupe of years.all good has showered upon me.these are the greatest years in my life.its been worth struggling for all those years.all that struggle has passed by.

The more we thank God for all His blessings He has showered upon us , the less it is. Words humble us to thank God. Expression of our thankgiving is indeed indescribable. Yes, I am thankful to God for whatever I have been endowed with. What we need is to be obdeient servant of God to be successul Herein and the Hereafter.

I used to be like that, always expecting more from life but now I realize everything that is important is right there, over the past 10 years I have lost so many special people in my life that I myselfn are grateful for every secons and I appreciate every second and everything I have, we only have to watch the News on TV to see how hard some people are doing it.

I can understand that feeling of being not thankful, since I used to feel like that a while back. I can also understand and relate to the poor being happy and rich being sad idea too. I'm really glad to be living in general. : ) I'm really happy with my life right now and wouldn't change it even if I could. I'm sure there are people that don't have the things I do, so I should consider myself lucky. Still, I know people that had really bad things happen to them and they still look forward to everyday with excitement and happiness. Sometimes, I envy how pure a heart can be.

Yes, I am thankful for everything I have here. I have a computer to browse the web, while others don't. I have roof over my head, so I still got a place to stay. I thankful for everything I have here.

well for one thing, we all complain almost about anything, when we could just be thanking for what we have and how lucky we are from most people out there suffering. I too consider myself not that much a thankful person, but then I stop and think about it...I really should change my way of living. LOL
