What cartoons did you watch when you were a kid?

I have to admitt, I love cartoons still to this day. If I am lucky enough to catch an old bugs bunny or old looney tune cartoon, I am in heaven! They just don't make cartoons like they use to! Family Guy rocks, but thats about it now. I use to love Popeye, Bugs Bunny, Road Runner, Fraggle Rock, Smirfs, Little Audry, Felix the Cat... I can keep going, but I'll leave it at that. What cartoons did you like and do you miss them now?

I love to watch Popeye the Sailor man. I like the concept of Popeye being strong after eating spinach. And being the hero at the end of every story.

Popeye was actually my favorite cartoon from what my mother says. I had a bunch of the vhs tapes, so I would just watch it over and over if it wasn't on tv at that time.

I'm a cartoon lover as well, and you're right they just don't make cartoons like they used to. I was always a die-hard (and still am) Tom & Jerry fan...

Tom & Jerry is pretty much one of the only shows that they still have on regularly. Just the other day, me and my husband were watching the back to back episodes they were playing.

When I was a kid there was no TV, but I read comic books. Tarzan was always my favorite, and Bugs Bunny and Popeye. I really don't miss the comics now because if you are observant, life is a barrel of Monkeys.

I use to read comic books too, but for the life of me, I cannot remember what it was or about.

I agree with you, I prefer older cartoons compared to newer ones. I remember as a kid, I used to watch many different shows on television. There seemed to be almost an endless list of things to watch. Now when I browse through channels, there's nothing I'm interested in anymore. That would be awesome if I saw an old cartoon on television now and then, but I can never seem to find any.

I really wish they would bring all the old goodies back! Some call the old cartoons violent. Pshhhhh whatever, its a cartoon. So now they have these really corny ones. Cartoons with bright colors and too lovey dovey for me. I want action and comedy.

I love looney toons to, I get to watch cartoon network when I was a kid, but then I get diverted into japanese animation or anime when I was in high school. I used to draw them a lot, I also like the movies disney's making. I just love how they move and how they talk, it looks so fluid.

I knew people in highschool that were into anime, but I never saw it myself. But I did check out all their drawings too.
