Factory Settings?

I was going to reset my computer to factory settings, because I have donwloaded many unwanted programs, and my computer is getting slower. What are the good sides, and bad to doing this.. Please respond

well theres nothin bad in this.you just loose some of your important programs and if u dont have them in Cd or have some kind of backup it will be a headache .
I also have this kind of problem few weeks ago but i am fortunate that i have fast internet connection and few good friends that help me out

Cleaning dust on RAM? What do you mean by this? Physically or on the Computer?
