Does anyone else own a catahoula?

we use to have a catahoula but then my son when he moved out took him to live with him. They are a unique breed and not many people have them much less raise them i think. We have since gotten a english bulldog which i can say is a major difference in breeds and disposition. Catahoula's are fun and unique creatures.

Well it only took you a year to get a response on this topic. I have a Catahoula. I live in Ohio, and I think only one person I have ever come in contact was able to look at him and identify his breed :-) He is a big baby and bully. I've had to use the "Nothing in life is free" training techniques on him, and they helped him chill out a little. He IS chill, he'll lay around all day....but then when he wants something he's Mr. Agressive. And since he's so muscular, that's why I had to get a little more strict.
